In an effort to make their Freak watch more accesible, Ulysse Nardin has swapped the precious metals in the case for titanium, but kept the unusual tourbillon movement and crownless case that made the original so special.
The Freak Out Watch sports a 45mm case with no crown. A small lock at 6 o’clock releases the bezel which can be used to adjust the time, while the hand-wound movement within is wind-up by twisting the entire caseback. The baguette-style movement, which is the watch’s minute hand (how cool is that?), has an impressive power reserve of 7 days and includes various silicon components.
The watch is available in four models: Full Black, Black Gold, Freak Out of the Blue, and Blue Gold, each presented on a matching color sailcloth strap with folding buckle.
