This new design — a monochromatic take on the chronograph — is inspired by the grit and grime of ’90s action movies. It’s far more minimalist in its styling than the first Regulator collab, which is definitely a good thing.

But the seemingly stripped-down dial has a hidden secret: the whole thing is lumed. The dial surface glows blue, whereas its markers are done-up in green, helping the watch remain clear and readable even in the lowest light conditions.

More than meets the eye

Despite the minimalist colorway and styling, this watch has a lot going on. While that might seem obvious — it is a chronograph — it speaks to the incredible balance struck by Brew and Worn & Wound.

For instance, the hour subdial — a standard feature in regulator watches — is split into dual 12-hour segments instead of a typical, single 0-24 scale for easier reading. Furthermore, it is split into light and dark to help better distinguish between AM and PM at a glance.
