TopCar Reveals McLaren 720S Spider Fury

If ever there was a car which didn’t need improvement, it is the McLaren 720S Spider. Jaw-dropping looks, outrageous performance and class-leading handling; the McLaren 720S Spider has it all. Russian tuning firm, TopCar, seem to disagree though. The new TopCar McLaren 720S Spider Fury highlights where they think that improvements can be made.

TopCar has become known for its work on the Porsche 911 and the Porsche Panamera. In recent years, TopCar branched out with packages for Mercedes-AMG models. More recently, a package emerged for the Lamborghini Urus. The expansion continues with the McLaren 720S Spider.

TopCar’s modifications are quite extensive. Whereas their 911 packages tend to be understated, their 720S Spider package is extreme. There is plenty of carbon fibre on display. TopCar adds more than 50 parts, combined with a deep green finish.

The changes include a new front facia with a front skirt insert, a multi-piece spoiler lip and a new front panel. The bonnet is new with deeper air intakes. At the side, extensive carbon fibre panels have been added, giving the 720S Spider a completely new look.

At the rear, the changes are meant to reflect the shark on the TopCar logo. The modifications include a new rear diffuser, trims for the engine plus a rear wing with two fins. The wheels are TopCar Fury style measuring 9×20 inches at the front and 11.5×21 inches at the rear.

The interior receives a full leather and Alcantara refit with new elements in black and dark green. The carbon fibre additions to the door sills show the name “Fury” and the TopCar logo when the door is open.

The price for the carbon fibre version of the kit is an eye-watering €83,262. Installation costs a further €6,000. This example is available now for €387,000!

One-of-five Pagani Huayra Imola gives ‘track car’ a different meaning

This past week, the Supercar Owners Circle (SOC) celebrated its fifth anniversary with a party and drive in the Swiss Alps. The gathering hosted some of the most exclusive, best-performing, and best-designed cars ever released, some old, some new. To the surprise of its attendees, it also hosted the unveiling of a sure-fire future Italian collectible. One of the most-talked-about cars in attendance was the Pagani Huayra Imola, a one-of-five limited-edition that pays tribute to Italy’s famous racing circuit. This is the first time the car has been seen in public.

Imola racetrack, also known as Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, is located in north central Italy outside of Bologna. It’s one of the most notable tracks in Europe, and it previously held court for Formula One races. Now it’s serving as inspiration to one of the best modern-day Italian performance automakers, Pagani Automobili.

The Huayra Imola was released quietly in relation to the gargantuan nature of the car, as there are no official images, releases or posts directly from Pagani. So, all information here is gleaned from social media photos, videos and captions. The Imola, of which only five examples will be built, was apparently first unveiled at the track on July 29, but it has been kept a secret until this past weekend. The first example was reportedly delivered to Oleg Egorov, the owner and founder of specialty aftermarket shop TopCar Design.

We thought we’d seen the Huayra taken to its extreme with the BC editions, but the Imola has an even wilder exterior aerodynamic package. Through extensive use of carbon fiber, the front and rear have been redesigned with a new splitter and new diffuser. There are also several new intakes, new side skirts, a new spine along the rear of the car, and a new wing. The seven-spoke wheels are different, too. Many of the alterations are highlighted by bright red-orange accents that outline the edgy designs.

Inside, which can be seen on Oleg’s Instagram, the panels have been fitted with prints that honor Leonardo da Vinci and his work, including the Mona Lisa and his preliminary sketches of wings.

For now, we do not know where the Imola stands on performance, but some of the videos show it in motion doing some lighthearted drag racing. Check out the images and video above, below, and all over social.

TopCar Lamborghini Urus Revealed with Military Green Paint and Camo Carbon!

The first tuned Lamborghini Urus has arrived! Russian tuner TopCar revealed their design for the Lamborghini Urus some time ago. The vision is now reality! Finished in a semi-matte Military Green colour, the Lamborghini Urus looks more extreme than what Lamborghini delivers through its showrooms.

TopCar have obviously been working flat out to put together their first tuning package for a Lamborghini. The package includes a new bonnet (or hood depending on which part of the world you come from), front and rear fender extensions, door moldings, rear top spoiler and diffuser. What’s more, TopCar plan to show another Urus soon which will add modifications to the bottom part of the front bumper, a larger rear diffuser, side skirts and a new front and rear bumperset.

12 pieces are currently on offer. Prices have also been announced and range from €9,160 for the carbon fibre front bumper to €1,400 for the door mouldings. All components are produced in carbon fibre and can be installed individually. If you like one element, but not the rest, TopCar can cater for you.

If you baulked at the price of the carbon fibre bonnet, you might want to look a little closer.

While the overall package is impressive, it is the attention to detail that makes the TopCar Lamborghini Urus so impressive to us. In the photos below you will notice that the carbon fibre work on the underside of the bonnet has been constructed in such a way as to create a camouflage effect. The effect is created by a special carbon Kevlar weave.
