Welcome to Deals of the Week, where Gear Patrol captures all the best deals that are still going strong. You can also follow all our deal posts in the Deals section. Comments or concerns? We’d love to hear from you at deals@gearpatrol.com.

Vitamix Explorian Blender
Save $130: From a performance POV, Vitamix blenders are wonderful, the benchmark all blenders reach for. Yet most people will never own one. They’re simply too cost prohibitive for the everyday cook — which is precisely why the brand launched its Explorian line late last year.

Blenders here, such as the E310 (read our full review), boast the same blending prowess as some upmarket models like the 5200, but their motors are housed in plastic parts for a more palatable price point. And today, their value is even better. The E310, which retails new for $350, is on sale for just $220 when you buy it certified refurbished from Amazon. — Jack Seemer

Prime Time at East Dane
Save up to 30% Stylish guys with Amazon Prime accounts are gonna love this sale. East Dane, the sharply curated menswear shop owned by everyone’s favorite Seattle tech and retail giant, is offering early access to the stuff non-Prime members have to wait for. — Justin Fenner

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Save Up To 50%:We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again — a great bag is vital. Your luggage can make or break a trip, so it usually pays to invest in quality. Having something that looks good doesn’t hurt, either. But what if you don’t want to spend more for your duffle than you did for everything inside it?

Nordstrom’s blowout anniversary sale has terrific bags from the likes of Tumi, Cole Haan, John Varvatos and more, and they’re all up to half off regular price. — Andy Frakes

Nike Summer Sale
Save 20%+: It’s extremely rare these days to find a sale on the Apple Watch, nonetheless an Apple Watch Nike+ Series 3. Pair a new watch with some of the top performing weightlifting and CrossFit sneakers, as well as our best in class gym shorts. To score an extra 20 percent off, add promo code HOT20 at checkout. — Meg Lappe

Saucony’s Ultimate Dad Sneaker Is on Sale
Save 15%: Saucony’s Shadow Original, first introduced in 1983 as a running shoe, is still being worn by cool guys all over the world. Right now, you can take 15 percent off this enduring footwear icon. — Justin Fenner

District Vision Keiichi Sale
Save $70: Run through the streets of New York City at dusk or dawn, and you’re sure to stumble upon running crews that take to the streets pretty much every day. District Vision is the brand runners opt to wear while logging miles. The Keiichi Standard is one of the original styles from DV and works on a variety of face shapes and sizes. The two-year intense testing period allows for the brand to put these through the ringer. Pick from a dark lense, District Sky, or a yellow to help brighten your field of vision. — Meg Lappe |

New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 Sale
Save $60: This time last year, I was already a couple of weeks into my training for the New York City marathon. It was my first 26.2 and I was nervous. Over the course of my 16-week training plan the weather, distance logged and gear I wore changed with every single run. The one constant was my pair of shoes. After measuring my feet at New York Road Runner’s HQ, I walked out with a pair of Fresh Foam 1080s. There was no break-in period thanks to the engineered mesh and an ortholite insert, and at just $90 today, it’s a hard deal to beat for marathon sneakers or any long-distance runner. While I’m not running the NYC marathon this year, these are the shoes I’d trust to get me through another one. — Meg Lappe

Brooks Brothers Blazers
Save up to 40%: For two centuries, Brooks Brothers set the standard for professional wear in America. While the brand’s inventory greatly expanded over the years, its focus on well-made, proper-fitting attire hasn’t waned. If you’re looking to add some Brooks Brothers to your wardrobe, Nordstrom Rack has an enticing sale. Now, you can save up to 40 percent on timeless blazers and sport coats in a range of fabrics and sizes. With prices starting at just $240, it’s a good chance to give your professional wear a perfunctory refresh. — John Zientek

Birdwell x Todd Snyder
Save up to 33% Unlike other swimming trunks, Birdwell Beach Britches are made with longevity in mind. Which is why it’s worth getting excited about a bunch of them going on sale. The brand’s exclusive collaboration with Todd Snyder is finally on sale. Act fast. — Justin Fenner

Timex Marlin
Save $30: For most of the time since it came out late last year, the Time Marlin — the brand’s first hand-winding mechanical watch in years — has spent the majority of the time either full-price or sold out (and thus marked up on the second-hand market). For the last couple of months, though, Timex seems to have put the handsome vintage-inspired piece back in stock for the long haul. Better still, it appears the watch has gotten its first markdown (that we know of) on Huckberry. At a 15 percent drop in price, it’s not exactly a fire sale, but it’s nothing to sneeze at either, and it makes the already-affordable mechanical piece even more accessible. At just $169 there’s no doubt you’re getting a ton of bang for your buck. — Andrew Connor

A.P.C. Surplus Sale
Save 50%acA.P.C.’s Surplus Sale has just begun and it’s basically a very big web page full of great gear from past seasons.

Though you might expect a French fashion brand born in the ’80s to be a bit more, well, loud, A.P.C. is decidedly quiet. Its founder, Jean Touitou, once told Business of Fashion “There are too many fashion shows, too much loss of quality, too many parties.” Basically, his company is in the business of making classics, as cliché as that sounds. This begs the question why it should matter if the goods available at or around 50 percent off during this sale are a year or two years old — if you aim to make timeless goods, shouldn’t 2017’s jeans be pretty similar to 2018’s?

A lot is packed into this sale, so we’ve picked a few of our favorite items below (including one of the best basic white t-shirts you can buy). As of publishing, plenty of sizing and color options were available. — Will Price

Mismo Bags
Save 30%: In 2003, Rikke Overgaard and Adam Alexander Bach founded the understated bag brand Mismo. What started as a line of elegant everyday bags to counter the ubiquitous nylon bags of the early aughts has grown into a full-fledged collection including backpacks, weekenders and tote bags. The Danish brand’s tenets are rooted in simplicity, functionality and durability, and as such, the clean designs utilize Italian fabrics and are crafted in Turkey. If you’re in need of a well-made bag and aren’t interested in American waxed-canvas offerings, check out these tasteful Scandinavian bags at Need Supply — they’re 30 percent for a limited time. — John Zientek

Chaco Hiking Sandals Sale
Save $20+: Hiking while the weather is warm is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Walking through the trails in heavy boots under direct sun with no breeze, however, is pretty miserable. Slap some hiking sandals on your feet and enjoy the breathing room they provide. Outdoor sandals are quite intense and complete with grippy Vibram soles and molded arches. Best of all, they’re all easy to slide on and hang on your backpack when you’re done for the day. Chaco creates strappy and durable hiking sandals — many of which are on sale today for up to $20 off. One of our top picks in 2018, the Z2 Classic is currently $21 off. Enjoy the rest of summer’s heat and soak up the sun starting with your toes. — Meg Lappe

A Clever Sale From Bonobos
Save 25% Right now, you can take 25 percent off the brand’s sharp polo shirts, including the pique versions made from Pima cotton. All you have to do is use the code MARCO at checkout. (We told you it was clever.) — Justin Fenner

Garmin Forerunner 735XT
Save $100: Ask a runner if they track a workout, and you’re likely to get a strange look. Who doesn’t log every single mile? The easiest way to do it is to invest in a smartwatch with GPS, like Garmin’s Forerunner series. The Forerunner 735XT alerts you to calls and texts from your phone, monitors wrist-based heart rate and works on runs, bikes, swims, hikes and anything else you do. It also comes standard with the Strava Live Suffer Score Connect IQTM app to tell you how hard you’re working — or not working. If you buy one today, you can save $100 off the original price of $450. — Meg Lappe

Cuisinart Programmable Coffee Maker
Save 65%Cuisinart’s 14-cup programmable coffee maker is not for the person that stressed about pre-infusion, water minerality or deciding between a coarse and medium-coarse grind. No, it is for the person who wants hot coffee, and a lot of it. And today it’s way, way cheaper than normal.

The product is programmable on 24-hour cycles, meaning you can set it up to initiate the brew process at whatever times of the day you prefer. I can’t vouch for its claims of brewing with “State of the Art” technology that allows for a hotter cup without sacrificing taste, as we know raising brew temperatures can lead to overextracted coffee, which leads to a lot of bitterness. But, again, if you’re after volume and hot cups of coffee, this isn’t a problem. There’s no coffee shaming here.

The Cuisinart programmable model makes up to 14 cups of coffee at a time, cleans itself and is 65 percent off today. — Will Price

Harman Kardon AVR 1610S
Save $180: Even though it’s several years old, the Harman Kardon AVR 1610S is still a solid, entry-level AV receiver for anybody looking to build out a home theater system. It’s a 425-watt receiver that can support up to 5.1 channels. It has a number USB ports, so you can directly connect an external hard drive, set-top cable box or smartphone. It has built-in Bluetooth and supports Spotify Connect, making it easy to stream music, too. It’s available on the company’s website for $400 (here), however you can get it for $249 on Amazon (here). Today on eBay you can get an extra chunk of change off — the Harman Kardon AVR 1610S (new!) is going for just $220 (here). — Tucker Bowe

The North Face Allproof Stretch Rain Jacket
Save 46%: Regarding rain jackets, 2018 was the year of stretch. It seemed as if every outdoor company integrated elasticity into that crucial weather layer that’s typically not known for its range of motion. The best jacket to do this, in our opinion, is The North Face’s Allproof Stretch. The Allproof provides about as much pliancy as a balloon — and its interior feels similar to that material — but is still fully waterproof, and lightweight enough for hiking and backpacking. Two exterior hand pockets, an adjustable hood and underarm zips for venting fill out the Allproof’s features, making it ideal for everyday and technical use. We liked it so much that we named it one of the best of the year (check out the rest of our list here).

Right now, the Allproof is a staggering 46 percent off at Mountain Steals, dropping from its regular price of $149 to just $81. — Tanner Bowden

Coach’s Big Sale
Take 50% off great fall outerwear Most guys haven’t even started thinking about buying a jacket for fall yet. But maybe that’s because most guys don’t yet know about Coach’s awesome 50% off sale, which is discounting everything from leather jackets to sharp M65s.— Justin Fenner

Mophie Wireless Charging Base
Save $20: You just bought an iPhone X — or iPhone 8/8 Plus — and you’re looking for jump on the new wave of wireless charging. Using your iPhone’s Lightning port is so dated, after all. One of the best wireless chargers is Mophie’s Wireless Charging Base. It supports 7.5-watt fast-charging speeds and comes with wall adapter in the box (not all do). Apple even trusts the wireless charger enough to sell it, but on Apple.com they’re going for $50 a pop. If you’re looking for a better deal, you can find the same one on Amazon for just under $40.

All the Outdoor Gear You Could Ever Want Is on Sale Now
Save up to 50%: Summer is coming to its slow close, but thanks to Backcountry’s Semi Annual Sale there isn’t a better time to get outside with new gear. — Tanner Bowden

This Sale Is Your Best Chance to Get an Awesome Knife for Less
Save up to 60%: Included in Backcountry’s Semi Annual sale is a collection of awesome knives. Some of them are more than 60 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

Apple AirPods
Save $14: The price of Apple’s AirPods has stayed at $159 since they were released roughly two years ago. You can find certified refurbished models for a little less, at either Best Buy or eBay, but that’s about it. Now, with rumblings of a new AirPod case set to be announced (with an LED light to indicate battery life), it seems the price of AirPods is finally dropping — but again, by just a little. Right now you can buy brand new AirPods on Amazon for $145 — $14 off what they’re going for on Apple’s website. — Tucker Bowe

Eddie Bauer EverTherm Down Jacket
Save $120: Last year, Eddie Bauer released its EverTherm Down Jacket and changed our perception of what down can look like. Rather than a horde of tiny feathers stuffed into horizontal baffles, EverTherm’s insulation is arranged in fabric-like sheets called Thindown. The construction prevents the need for that quilted look but also eliminates cold spots created by stitching, producing more warmth for less weight.

The EverTherm’s innovation was undeniable on paper, and when we put the jacket to the test last fall and winter, we found that it wasn’t all marketing jargon. The coat is impressive, and it’s certainly worthy of use in the mountains and around town too (the lack of baffles makes it look less technical than most down jackets, which could be a boon to city-dwellers). For these reasons, we named it one of the best of the year included it in our guide to the Best Down Jackets.

The EverTherm is only in its second season, but with Eddie Bauer’s current weekend sale you can snag it for 40 percent — that’s $120 — less than full price. If you need a down jacket for the inevitable cold of late fall and winter, the EverTherm is a great option to consider. And if you like the baffled look, check out Eddie Bauer’s MicroTherm jacket ($149 with the discount).

To activate the discount, enter the code STINE at checkout. — Tanner Bowden

Bose QC35 (Series I) Wireless ANC Headphones
Save $50: The Bose QC35 IIs are the company’s flagship wireless ANC headphones. They’re comfortable. They sound superb. And they offer arguably the best noise-canceling of any ANC headphones on the market. They’re also almost virtually identical to the company’s previous wireless ANC headphones, the Bose QC35 (Series I). The only real difference is the older QC35 headphones lack the QC 35’s “action” button, which is located on its left ear cup and used to initiate Google Assistant. If you can survive without this, and I’m guessing most people can, you can save $50 on the Bose QC35 (Series I). It’s discounted on both Amazon’s and Best Buy’s websites, but only in the silver model. — Tucker Bowe |

High-End Lighting
Save Up to 70%>YLighting is a website you’d typically go to for drool-worthy lighting fixtures, lamps and pendants. The webstore stocks lighting from legendary lightmakers like Anglepoise, George Nelson, FLOS and Tom Dixon, and as such places its wares at mostly unattainable price points. Its warehouse sale, going on right now, may be the cheapest you’ll ever see these brands.

The sale sees 1,200 high-end lights marked down up to 60 percent, all with additional 10 percent off thanks to code 10MORE (and free shipping). The catch? The products are all open box returns and the sales are final. The items are new quality but were sent back to the company. The sale is going on through the weekend and stocks are very limited. — Will Price

Brooks Brothers Sale
Save an Additional 25%: The dog days of summer are one of the best times to shop clothing sales as many brands use the time to offload extra inventory. If you’re looking to upgrade your professional wardrobe for less, Brooks Brothers has a sale worth shopping. Currently, you can save an additional 25 percent on sale items including suits, trousers, belts, shoes and more. The reputable brand has been offering tasteful clothing for two centuries, so you can trust that you’ll get a quality, timeless product. — John Zientek

Rapha Archive Sale
Save Up To 60%: Among the two-wheeled and well-heeled, Rapha is pretty much the gear and garb go-to. Everything the brand sells has an understated, luxe quality that’s reinforced by careful construction and premium materials. Those factors, combined with plenty of brand hype, can lead to a bit of sticker shock when you go to buy your own Rapha kit.

But thanks to the brand’s ongoing Archive Sale, you can get your hands on past-season garb, accessories and sample gear like the stylish GT shoes, the classically simple Rapha cap and much more, all for much less than MSRP.

Available sizes are limited and the best color options are sure to sell out, so the sooner you can browse the sale yourself, the better. — Andy Frakes

Hunter Boots
Save 41%: In much of the US, summer showers aren’t an everyday occurrence, but when thunderstorms and inclement weather do hit, they bring heavy unpredictable rains. For weather like this, light waterproof jackets and umbrellas are essential, as are a good pair of rain boots. If you’re in need of waterproof footwear, East Dane is currently offering styles from Hunter at much-reduced prices. You can get into a pair of Short Boots of Chelseas for under $100 or pick up a pair of sandals for $60 if you’re so inclined. A range of sizes are still available, so invest now and prepare for whatever the next months have in store. — John Zientek

AGV Sport Sareno Jacket
Save 20%:Adventure motorcycle jackets go for function over form, nine times out of ten. And because they’re one of the more technical pieces of gear you can own, subsequently they also tend to carry a high price tag too. ADV Jackets have to be able to withstand am an incredibly wide range of elements and riding environments while staying comfortable all day long. The AGV Sport Sareno Jacket breaks that expensive-equals-quality mold by being a wickedly versatile jacket yet coming in under around the $200 mark. And today, it’s even more affordable because it’s 20-percent off. — Bryan Campbell

Converse Chuck Taylors
Save 60%:Converse’s Chuck Taylors are perhaps the most iconic sneaker silhouette ever produced — thanks in large part to accessibility and a look that seems to find a new niche to conquer every decade. What started out as the most ubiquitous basketball shoe ever made became punk rock, and later a preppy suburban kid staple. Now, everyone wears Chucks — and today a bunch of them are marked down to $35.

The Converse Chuck 70 Heritage model — of which plenty of sizes in high- and low-top are still available — is an homage to the days when the shoe was a sport sneaker. Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain wore them, as did literally everyone else in that era of basketball. This updated version mimics them aesthetically but adds in an OrthoLite cushion for a bit of comfort.

The Chuck 70s typically run for $80 or more, but today they’re more than 50 percent off. — Will Price

Frye Leather Bags
Save up to 61%: Very few bags are truly all-purpose. While canvas and nylon styles are great for everyday use and more technical applications, they can miss the mark aesthetically in professional situations. If you’re in need of a bag that will compliment your business wardrobe, consider investing in an understated leather bag. Now at Nordstrom Rack, you can save up to 61 percent on a wide range of bags from Frye including backpacks, duffels, messenger bags and more. Prices start at $180, which, though not inexpensive, isn’t a huge price to elevate your professional style. — John Zientek

Succulent Houseplants
Save Up to 32% Off: Succulents have two outstanding qualities. They’re low maintenance, so they don’t need a lot of sun or water to thrive. And they’re handsome, able to add color and vigor to an otherwise stale room or workspace. If you’re interested in such a low-maintenance houseplant, Amazon is having a special succulent deal where packs up 4, 12 and 20 succulents are selling for up to 32-percent off. It’s a pretty good deal, especially considering you don’t have to go to a plant shop. These will just show up at your door. — Tucker Bowe | |

Patagonia’s Better Sweater
Save $40: Patagonia’s excellent Better Sweater, which usually retails for around $150, is going for just $109.90 during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale. And while you might not want to wear it in the middle of summer, you’ll be grateful to have it in your closet (and a little extra money in your pocket) when the mercury does finally start to drop. — Justin Fenner

Denim from Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale
Save 43%: Denim transcended its roots as a workhorse fabric becoming a staple in wardrobes across the world. And, it’s no surprise: the fabric is durable, it only gets more comfortable after years of wear and it fades in patterns unique to the wearer. While pop culture’s association of denim with miners and cowboys is waning, there is no shortage of great garments cut from the fabric. To pick up a few of your favorite denim wardrobe staples, check out Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale where a range of styles are 43 percent off. Pick from shirts, jackets, pants and more, but don’t wait because the sale ends soon. — John Zientek

Instant Pot Luxe
Save 39%:No doubt gearing up for the release of the new Instant Pot Max on August 1st, Instant Pot has been a sales spree as of late.

During Prime Day we saw the Ultra and Duo models both on steep, all-time low discounts, and today the most affordable Instant Pot variant goes even further. The Instant Pot Lux, the original Instant Pot model, is under $50 — a first for any Instant Pot model, ever. The Luxe is the most stripped back of the brand’s soon-to-be five models — featuring only one pressure cooking setting (high). Though, frankly, if you’re getting an instant pot for 45-minute fall-off-the-bone spare ribs, you don’t need more flexibility. The Luxe also features the other staples of all Instant Pots, like a pretty unremarkable sauté function, rice cooker, steamer and a solid slow cook mode. The size that’s on sale, the 6-quart, is large enough to cook for small families.

Hot tip: request to join Instant Pot’s community Facebook page for a small slice of happiness and plenty of recipe fodder. — Will Price

Jabra Elite 65t Wireless Earbuds
Save $71 (58% off): eBay is selling the Jabra Elite 65t wireless earbuds (read our review, here), which are probably the best all-around AirPod alternatives and normally cost $170, for just $99. That’s $71 off. The reason for the deal — and I’m guessing here — is that it’s a clearance sale due to the fact that Jabra recently announced the Jabra Elite Active 65t (read our review, here), which are essentially sweatproof and slightly more expensive versions of the Jabra Elite 65t wireless earbuds. Both use the same app. Both sound great. Both have great battery life, too. — Tucker Bowe

Wednesday, July 25

LG G7 ThinQ Smartphone
Save $100: The LG G7 ThinQ has only been available for a few months — we covered the smartphone’s launch event in early May — and today you buy a “factory unlocked” version on Amazon for $650, that’s $100 off what it was first going for. By all accounts, the LG G7 ThinQ is a very good smartphone with a big and bright display and built-in quad-DAC for hi-fi listening. — Tucker Bowe

Allen Edmonds Summer Savings Event
Save $64:According to a New York Times article published in 2011, only one percent of all shoes sold in the United States are actually produced here. Among the distinguished minority, you’ll find the Park Avenue, McAllister and Fifth Avenue oxford dress shoes from Allen Edmonds — all stalwarts in the Wisconsin brand’s legendary, 100-plus-year-old catalog. These classic models normally retail for $425 each but you can shave $64 (more than 15 percent) off retail during the Allen Edmonds Summer Savings Event, happening now. — Jack Seemer

Roomba 960
Save 24%:The Roomba is and was so much better than its competitors it became a sort of generic trademark for its entire category of robo-vacuums. There are many models of Roomba — more affordable, less affordable, enormously powerful, sort of weak and so on.

The Roomba 960 falls into the category of enormously powerful and, typically, wholly unaffordable. Recommended as the “Upgrade Pick” by the super-reviewers at Wirecutter, it is heavy enough and totes enough suction to suck up dog hair, dust and whatever other particles float around one level of your home. Its iAdapt 2.0 Navigation program is able to differentiate change in elevation and act accordingly (it rolls up onto tall rugs to clean, but not down stairs) and it’s controllable via app or Alexa voice control.
Today the $700 robot vacuum is marked down 24 percent, good for its lowest price ever. — Will Price

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Leather Boots
Save up to 44%: Well-made leather boots are a footwear option worth investing in. If you’ve been waiting for a substantial sale to spend on a nice pair of boots, Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is for you. Customers can save up to 44 percent on brands like Red Wing, Allen Edmonds and Wolverine, among others. The sale ends August 5, so if you see a style you like, don’t put off the purchase. — John Zientek

BlenderBottle Shaker Cups
Save up to 18%: Almost twenty years ago, BlenderBottle introduced a small wire ball that forever changed the way gym-goers prepare their protein shakes. On Amazon, you can save money on two different BlenderBottle products: the Classic, which comes in a two-pack, and an insulated version called the Radian (18 percent off). — Jack Seemer

The Rolex GMT Master II On StockX
Grab The New GMT Master II At MSRP: Chances are good that unless you have an extremely close relationship with your local AD (authorized dealer), you didn’t have a chance to nab the new Rolex GMT Master II 126710BLRO at MSRP; almost as soon as the watch launched, the watch-buying public seemed to collectively lose their $#!+ at the realization that Rolex was finally putting out a new Pepsi-bezel GMT model in steel. While list price is $9250, these watches are already selling on the secondary market for close to $20k, making an already not-inexpensive watch – how shall we say?- less not-inexpensive.
StockX, the “world’s first stock market for stuff,” is a live bid/ask marketplace for sneakers, streetwear, handbags, and now, for watches, in which you place bids for an item and as soon as an ask meets your bid, the transaction happens automatically. Right now the good folks at StockX are giving one bidder the chance to obtain the new 2018 GMT Master II at MSRP, which has become exceedingly difficult since the watch’s release, as many ADs only receive a limited quality (or one!) watch at a time for sale (we should note that this example is pre-owned, as StockX is a marketplace and not a Rolex AD). Here’s are the rules from StockX:
StockX will be offering one Bidder the opportunity to buy the Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO watch. Bidding will be open from July 26th – 29th, after which StockX will select one bidder to purchase the watch for $9,250. You will not be charged for bidding. Only the selected winner will be charged.
How To Enter:
1. Create an account with StockX on your desktop or mobile device. If you’re going mobile, find the StockX app in the iOS or Google Play store. If you already have an account, make sure your app is updated and jump to step 2.
2. Beginning July 26th, Place a $9,250 Bid on the Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO ReStockX. You won’t be charged unless you win.
3. Earn a bonus entry every time you refer a new friend who also places a bid to win!
4. Full sweepstake’s rules here.
5. Follow us on Instagram right here.

If your wardrobe is in need of some fresh garments, check out Todd Snyder’s Summer Sale. You can save up to 70 percent on quality clothing from the brand along with a range of notable collaborations. Save 45%: Basics are the foundation of any wardrobe, and tees, socks, sweatshirts and underwear often get the more wear than many of the other garments in your closet. As such, they should be invested in routinely. Now at Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, you can save up to 45 percent on a wide range of wardrobe basics from brands like Calvin Klein, Billy Reid and Goodlife, among others. If you see something you like, don’t wait — the sale ends August 5. — John Zientek

Dyson V6 Cordless Vacuum
Save 68%:Dread it, run from it, it doesn’t matter — no matter what you do, there comes a time in every person’s life when the prospect of buying a Dyson vacuum is not only something of interest, but is actually exciting.

The refurbished Dyson V6 Cordless Absolute vacuum is, other than a mouthful, a premium value buy for those on the “is Dyson really worth it?” fence. And this one on eBay is a whopping 68 percent off its usual price. What do all those words in its name mean? Let’s break it down.

Refurbished: Official Dyson refurbs are brought in, tested, tested again and sent out into the world for re-selling. They are marked down significantly compared to their out-of-the-box counterparts, but the brand stands behind its claim that refurbs operate at a comparable level. The only defects, the brand says, should be visual and unimportant to function (scrapes, scratches, etc.).
Dyson V6 Cordless: The V6 was the first heavy-hitting cordless vacuum for Dyson. It packs enough suction to pull tangled up hair (pet or otherwise) from think carpets and rugs and a HEPA filter, which removes allergens from the air in your home. It may technically be two models behind, but we’re talking about vacuums here, not smartphones. The V10 is the newest model and, while extremely powerful, is probably not worth its exorbitant price tag.
Absolute: Dyson V6s come in three package varieties — the baseline, Fluffy and Absolute. The only difference between the packages is the amount of vacuum heads that come with it, with the Absolute having the most and the baseline having the least. Each added head, which pop off and on with a button press and a pull, serves a different purpose. The Absolute package comes with a head for hardwood floors, carpets and rugs, tiny crevices, a dusting brush and more.

The cordless Dyson V6 Absolute is at the lowest price we’ve ever seen it at. — Will Price

Anova Sous Vide
Save 46%mark>Google “best sous vide” and find Anova’s sous vide circulator recommended far and wide.

It’s easier to use than its best competition, the ChefSteps Joule, and boasts more power, which allows it to reach temperature moderately faster. Its biggest differentiating point, though, is the ability to control it manually — by clicking buttons on the actual machine — and via a powerful app. The Joule, though I believe its app to be more robust, is only manageable through said app.

Anova’s sous vide tool retails at $150, but is marked down to $80 today. A savings of 46 percent, good for its cheapest price ever. — Will Price

An integrated Heads-Up Display, Alexa compatibility and built-in front and rear 360-degree cameras bring the Jarvish on par with any modern dashboard. Dyson Upright Multifloor Vacuum
Save 50%: Dyson’s classic upright vacuum is $150 right now on Amazon. That is the cheapest we’ve seen it.

According to Dyson, upright, corded vacuums are things of the past — as was the brand’s declaration upon releasing the V10 earlier this year. For everyone else, Dyson’s older upright vacuums are still most likely the best vacuum we’ll ever own. These models are refurbished by the manufacturer, who cleans them up, replaces any defective parts and pressure tests them more than you ever will before re-selling. To me, they’re the best way to buy a Dyson at a high value. Plus, there’s a six-month warranty if you feel yours isn’t working as it should.

The Upright Multifloor models have bigger heads, larger debris canisters and pack plenty of consistent suction. If you have a larger living space, this one will probably do you better than a cordless — the cordless vacuums we’ve tried (including the brand new V10) are depleted of battery depressingly fast. The Uprights are stocked with HEPA filters and Dyson’s classic swiveling ball tech.

The refurbished Dyson Upright Multifloor, which usually sells for $300 or more, is $150 right now. — Will Price

Askov Finlayson Vermilion Pant
Save $78: What makes a quality pair of travel pants? It’s tough to say, and likely that the answer will vary widely even amongst tight-knit groups of wanderers. Here’s a hypothesis though: how about pants that are comfortable in transit, look right at dinner and are sturdy enough to stand up to a spur-of-the-moment hike to the local lookout point? Maybe it’s too much to ask. There are indeed pants that can do one or two of these things but sacrifice on the third. Not Askov Finlayson’s Vermilion Pant though

The Vermilion Pant is made of 10.4-ounce unwashed cotton canvas, which is a material often used to create workwear. Additionally, the knees and seat are reinforced. Combined, these features impart the durability we like when packing light for a trip that might involve unexpected outings (which are the best kinds of trips anyway). Don’t let that tough construction fool you though; these pants don’t look more like a pair of J.Crew Chinos than Carhartt Dungarees. Oh, and yes, they’re comfortable too. Snag a pair now for $78 off their full price of $178 (that’s 44 percent) at Huckberry’s Summer Sale. — Tanner Bowden

But GP readers who use the code “RAVPB080” can get another $16 off, driving the price down to $40. It’s a good deal, plus this particular portable power bank is pretty unique as it works as a wireless charger for your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or iPhone X, as well.

Huckberry Summer Sale
Save 50%: My perfect weekend includes a car ride out of the city, up into the green foothills of the Adirondacks and is complete with morning hikes subsequently followed by lakeside beers. If I could push the repeat button on that every weekend this summer, I would. Whether the weekend warrior in you loves mountain biking through the trees or lounging in a hammock, Huckberry’s summer sale has everything you could need. Pair a new bathing suit with a breezy short sleeve button up for a cool, but casual look. Don’t forget a pair of sunglasses (or two) for the road, and then pack your life’s belongings into a backpack or duffel. Trust us; You’ll be glad you did it. Here are a few of the most significant sales to help get your excellent weekend started. — Meg Lappe

Topo Designs Klettersack
Save $49: The Klettersack is one of Topo Designs’ original backpacks. It’s also one of its best, sporting plenty of trail capability but remaining appropriate for daily use around town. The fact that it’s staying power has proven true over the years is remarkable, considering Jedd Rose started Topo Designs by sewing together bags in a basement. Now, the Klettersack is one of the bags in Topo Designs’ collection that reappears every season in different colors but with few changes. The adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies.

That’s because it’s versatile. “It just has this perfect marriage of classic style, classic elements… it works every day, from going to work to taking it out on the trail to travel,” Rose says of the Klettersack. The bag is made with rugged 1,000-denier Cordura nylon, which is known to take a beating. For features, it packs a top-entry main compartment, padded shoulder straps, inner laptop sleeve and compressible side pockets.

The Klettersack, which usually goes for $169, is currently marked down by 30 percent to $120. Some other items from Topo Designs are also on sale at Huckberry, including a duffel and a casual briefcase. — Tanner Bowden

The simple unadorned style is incredibly versatile and pairs well with almost everything in your closet — they look as good with a pair of worn-in jeans as they do with chinos and a blazer. While the de facto colorway is white, you can get just as much mileage out of a pair in another neutral color. And now at East Dane, you can choose from three gray styles that cost no more than $53. Just make sure to use the code EXTRA18 at checkout to take advantage of the savings. — John Zientek

Two Urban Outfitters Media Consoles
Save Up to 50%: Sometimes when outfitting our living rooms with audio equipment we overspend. And by sometimes, I mean every time. When that happens, slight concessions are made, and they’re better made on the thing that holds the audio gear rather than the audio gear itself.

These two media consoles from Urban Outfitters Apartment Sale — the Draper and the Hamilton — are perfect for this. Both are derivatives of classic mid-century products and with an added air of UO playfulness, and both are much, much more affordable than any high-design setup you’ll find. Todd Snyder Camp Collar Indigo Linen Shirt
Save 37%: Todd Snyder is offering savings of 37 percent on one of the best shirts you can wear this summer. Normally $158, this shirt is now just $99 and available in sizes XS to XXL. — John Zientek

G.H. Bass & Co. Logan Flat Strap Weejuns
Save 25%: 82 years ago, Maine-based G.H. Bass and Co. designed a loafer that became a benchmark for men’s slip-on shoes. If you need further convincing, Best Buy has the same speaker on sale for $315 (here), which isn nowhere near as good of a deal.

New Balance Running Shoe Sale
Save 37%: New Balance started in Boston, Massachusetts in 1906 as a company to improve shoe fit, but quickly found its niche in the running shoe world. The brand has found its way onto many online running forums thanks to its vast array of models and versions of speedy shoes. Running nerds (no shame) know the exact model numbers for their favorite sneakers and which version is better than the other — there was a lot of discussion on online forums about New Balance’s decision to radically change everything about the 1080 V5 when the V6 launched. And now the V7 is on sale. As with any running shoe, it’s best to try it on and test it out in store to see how it’ll feel when underfoot, but with deals this good, we’d understand if you purchased first, tested later.– Meg Lappe

ELAC Uni-Fi UB5
Save 30%: ELAC’s Uni-Fi UB5 bookshelf speakers have been universally praised for delivering true hi-fi sound performance at a relatively affordable price tag — CNET’s audio experts even called the UB5 “one of the best speakers we’ve seen in the last few years.” Created by legendary speaker designer Andrew Jones, the speakers feature a three-way design and a custom concentric driver. A pair of UB5s normally retails for $500, but right now you can score them for just $350, making them an astounding value for the money and an easy way to upgrade your home audio system. — Andrew Connor

Pelican Cases Sale

Right now, Amazon is running a sale on several of their products, which are all made of ABS structural plastic and feature built-in O-ring-sealed pressure purge valves for quick equalization after changes in altitude or temperature. Most cases come with pluck-n-fit or 3-piece foam that allows for customization of the case interior to precisely fit your gear, and the cases are guaranteed for life against breakage due to manufacture defects.
If you’re worried about taking your fancy new DSLR on that next adventure, pick up a Pelican case and worry no further! — Oren Hartov

Uniqlo Supima Cotton Crewneck
Save 20%: Between those who know and those who don’t know how to dress, Summer is the great equalizer. Gone are opportunities to show off your skills at matching patterns and textures and colors over a dozen layers. Summer is about how little you can wear without making other people uncomfortable. Hence the short-sleeved T-shirt reigns supreme.

The plain, boring, single color and otherwise altogether uninteresting T-shirt is the shirt of Summer. And if you’re as boring to look at but as concerned with getting peak value as I am, you’ll get Uniqlo’s wonderful Supima Crewneck.

It is unadorned and just there, but it’s made with Supima cotton, which is essentially the best cotton you could hope for any of your things to be made from if you want them to last and for them to be soft (sheets especially). Yes, even “Egyptian” cotton, which references nothing but where it was grown. Supima is grown in the states, represents less than 1 percent of cotton grown worldwide and sports an extra-long staple, granting it strength and resistance to pilling.

Uniqlo’s Supima shirt is cozy, airy, comes in 10 colors and, right now, it’s only $8. — Will Price

This Sale Makes Arc’teryx Gear More Affordable Than Ever

Orvis Dog Bed Sale
Save 50%: Let’s face it, the reason Fido sleeps with you is that your mattress topper is likely better than his. But what if you flipped that? Today, you can save up to 50 percent on a better dog bed, specifically one that’s filled with ComfortFill or Memory Foam, so your pooch will learn to love his or her bed.– Meg Lappe

Dyson V10 Cordless Vacuum
Save $50: Dyson is so sure the V10 is the future of vacuuming that it bet its entire future on it, as the company ceased further R&D work on its upright corded vacuums with its launch.

When we tested it we found the performance exceptional, but the price exorbitant. The fully-strapped V10 retails for $700, with its most affordable variant at $500. The the Motorhead is $50 off today and, to the surprise of some, is the exact same machine as the super premium model (called the Absolute).

The only difference between the Motorhead and the Absolute is a few bonus vacuum heads — namely a dusting brush, a mini-vacuum head and the “Soft Roller” head, which is meant for carpets and high pile rugs. So long as you don’t have a need for an ultra-powerful duster (this vacuum is complete overkill for dusting) and don’t have too much cushy carpet and rug space, it will function the same as its $250 more expensive big brother.

This is the first time the V10 has been on sale since its release and is available on Amazon or from Dyson’s official site now. — Will Price

The 6-Series, the Chinese brand’s 2018 line, supports 4K, multiple popular HDR formats (Dolby Vision, HDR10) and sport a more efficient processor than the brand’s previous models.

The 55-inch, which comes with sturdy legs, 3 HDMI inputs and Roku Smart TV functions built-in, MSRPs for $800. Today on Amazon it’s $585, the lowest price we’ve seen it at. — Will Price

Allen Edmonds Clearance Sale
Save Up To 50%We’d like to think we know a few things about great shoes, and Allen Edmonds is a big name in men’s footwear. The brand’s timeless styles and high-quality construction are ever-appealing, but those factors also tend to put these shoes at the top end of what’s affordable for most guys. This is where we have some good news.
Thanks to this big sale, you can get a lot of their classic silhouettes at a steep discount. Pick from penny loafers and horse-bit slip-ons (deal sleds, in the modern parlance) as well as chelsea boots, in both rugged and dressed-up styles, and know you’re investing in a pair of shoes or boots that can last you through the next decade. — Andy Frakes
