Burrow Sofas
Save Up to $600: Available upholstered and in leather, Burrow’s sofas ship in pieces that can be assembled or disassembled in about 15 minutes, making it the perfect renter’s sofa. The frame is birch wood, the legs are oak and there’s a nifty charging cable built into the base. While not as low as Ikea, it’s prices are fair (full-size couches start at $1,395). Now and until September 9, those prices are a bit better.

The company’s Labor Day sale is now live, offering sitewide discounts that scale with your order total — $50 off for $500 orders, $150 off for $1,100 orders and all the way up to $600 off for $2,600 orders. The sale is added to your cart using the code that corresponds to your order total. Codes are listed on the site’s homepage. — Will Price

Moccamaster Coffee Pot
Save 20%: The champions of the coffee making space — Bonavita, Breville, Bunn, Cuisinart, Hamilton and the rest — all, to some extent, practice it. Every now and again, what we know about coffee changes and the coffee maker changes with it, but serious shifts seldom occur.

For those who’d prefer to get a coffee maker that resists change, there’s Moccamaster — the first drip coffee maker to obtain the SCA’s badge of approval (which is incredibly difficult) and one of the fastest brewers in the world.

Of its many features, two stand out: a copper heating element and the ability to disassemble. Given the material’s natural heat conductivity, copper coils heat water more quickly than machines using steel or other methods (the only machine we’ve tested that brews faster is Breville’s Precision Brewer). The ability to take the whole thing apart is also unique, and it allows for troubleshooting and fixing at home rather than losing your source of coffee to the mail for a few weeks (it’s also great for cleaning the machine).

Today, Moccamaster’s KBG model is 20 percent off on Amazon. It’s the 40-ounce model that uses a glass carafe and hot plate rather than the classic stainless steel thermo-carafe. — Will Price

Bell Race Star Helmets
Save Up to 50%: Summer may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean you need to roll your motorcycle back into the garage. There’s still plenty of time to hit the road and ride. Which means there’s no reason to wait to invest in one of those new helmets you’ve had your eye on for a while now.

And isn’t it your lucky day: Right now, RevZilla is offering big savings on Bell helmets equipped with Roland Sands Design liveries, with some on sale for as much as 50% off. These helmets bring all the trademark protection and security you’d expect from a legendary name like Bell, but with the retro cool brought to the table by motorcycle racer-turned-bike builder-and-accessorizer Roland Sands. A good motorcycle helmet deal is usually sure to perk any rider up — but being able to grab lids with these fresh looks for hundreds of dollars off sticker, well, that’s better than your morning coffee. — Will Sabel Courtney

The North Face Summit L3 Ventrix Hoodie
Save $65: The North Face was late to ultra-breathable active insulation game. But when it ultimately made an entry with Ventrix in Fall 2017, it was easy to forgive the lag. Like other synthetic insulation, you can think of Ventrix as an alternative to down that’s more water-resistant, if a little less packable. But The North Face made sure to make it different; the polyester fluff is breathable because it has laser-cut perforations that open and close with motion. The idea here is that a jacket like the Summit L3 Ventrix Hoodie, for instance, works to keep you cooler during activity and warmer during rest.

It works remarkably well. We’ve skied, hiked and commuted in Ventrix in various forms cooked up by The North Face. The Summit L3 Ventrix Hoodie tops the list — and earned a spot in our ranking of the best synthetic down jackets available — and right now you can get it for 25 percent (that’s $65) off. Not bad, considering cold temperatures are only weeks away. — Tanner Bowden

iPad Pro (2019)
Save $200 or More: If you’ve been considering picking up an iPad Pro, there’s never been a better time. Amazon has dropped the prices of the latest models and now they’re the cheapest they’ve ever been. The best deals are on “renewed” models. The smaller of the two tablets, the 11-inch iPad Pro, is $180 off if you opt for the configuration with cellular and Wi-Fi, and 256GB of storage. If you’d prefer the larger of the two, Amazon is selling renewed models of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, Wi-Fi-only models with 512GB of storage for over $200 off. Both these days are part of Amazon’s “Deals of the Day” and aren’t expected to last long. — Tucker Bowe

Mighty Vibe
Save $16: The Mighty Vibe ($85) is a little screen-less music player, sort of like an old iPod Shuffle, that’s specifically designed to work with Spotify. If you’re a Spotify Premium subscriber, you can download playlists and podcasts to the Mighty Vibe and then listen to them offline. This makes the Mighty Vibe a particularly useful gadget for runners (who are Spotify Premium subscribers) who don’t want to bring their smartphone on their run; it’s not only small, but it has a built-in clip that you can attach to your shirt or shorts. Right now, you can get a pretty good deal on the Mighty Vibe. Just enter the code “MIGHTYCHEAP” at checkout, and the normally $86 music player will cost you just $70. — Tucker Bowe

While this may sound small by modern standards, the watch wears extremely well and its 12mm depth offsets somewhat the smaller width. — Oren Hartov

Bose QuietComfort 20 In-Ear Headphones
Save $120: Even though there are a bunch of really good over-ear noise-canceling headphones – the Sony WH-1000XM3 being our new favorites, edging out the Bose QC35 II – there aren’t nearly as many good in-ear models. In fact, Bose makes the two best noise-canceling in-ear headphones out there. There’s the Bose QC20s ($250, wired) and the Bose QC30s ($300, wireless). Both are fairly expensive, but you can get a pretty good deal on the wired models if you go on eBay right now. There you’ll find the Bose QC20s for $129, which is $120 less than buying from Bose directly.

That’s a crazy good deal, especially considering that Symbol Audio rarely discounts its speakers. The discount applies the Tabletop HiFi in any number of cabinet and front grille finishes; you can choose between finishes like jet black, glacier white (pictured) and natural walnut. — Tucker Bowe

Dyson Vacuums, Fans & More
Save Up to 55%: The newest Dyson will always be the best Dyson. The brand consistently iterates and improves on its product for future generations of vacuums. That said, newer Dysons typically costs well over $500 (at present, the current release is $700). That’s where deals like this Nordstrom Rack Dyson event come in.

The sale is largely manufacturer refurbs marked down up to 55 percent off. Choice picks include the cordless V6 and Ball Multi-Floor (both released just four years ago) vacuums, which are both more than 50 percent off full retail. If you’re wary of used products, Dyson says machines sold through its refurbishment program have been tested to meet “like-new performance standards” and that products may arrive with scratches or other imperfections that don’t impact performance. — Will Price

Black Diamond Deploy Wind Shell
Save 20%: The lighter-and-more-packable story is one that’s often told in outdoor gear. Companies have been using it since Eddie Bauer (the man, not the company) invented the down jacket in the 1930s, and you can count on them to continue to champion the message for as long as gear is made. But the thing is, it never gets old. Especially when a company like Black Diamond creates something like the new Deploy Wind Shell, a wind-cutting shield of a layer that weighs only 1.7 ounces.

To put that into perspective, the iPhone SE, Apple’s smallest smartphone, weighs more than double that at four ounces. Hell, your keys probably weigh more than 1.7 ounces. The Deploy doesn’t fill an ultra-technical niche that’s only home to professional athletes either; it’s a versatile layer that has the potential for year-round use (windchill can be enough to cause cold-related injuries such as frostbite). Black Diamond was able to get to that low weigh-in by working closely with its fabric makers and by using YKK’s Super Lightweight Zipper.

The Deploy is new for 2019, but right now Backcountry is offering shoppers a discount on one full-priced item with the code TAKE20SUMMER, which means you can get it for 20 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

Wüsthof 8-Inch Chef’s Knife
Save $81: There are three types of chef’s knives.

First, there’s the value knife, typically made of hardwearing, easy-to-dull stainless steel, that goes for $30 to $45 (think Victorinox’s Fibrox knife). The second comes in just under $100; the steel here keeps an edge longer, but it isn’t forged and, thus, it’s susceptible to chipping. But you’ll typically have to spend upward of $150 for a forged chef’s knife, something like Wüsthof’s Classic 8-Inch Chef’s Knife — a wide bevel knife designed in a classically German style.

The Wüsthof Classic is made of a stainless steel composite containing more carbon than is normal for a stainless blade, granting it some of the attributes associated with carbon steel knives (like markedly easier sharpening).

Today on Ebay, you can get it for 46 percent off. That’s more than $60 cheaper than its listed price on Amazon. — Will Price

Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket
Save $169: For months now, we’ve been stressing that summer is the best time to score cold-weather gear, particularly awesome down jackets. Today serves up yet more proof, in that the legendary Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket is currently on sale for a whopping 45 percent off at Backcountry. I have the non-hooded version of this jacket, and it’s just about perfect for fall weather — and even chilly summer evenings.

Dropping from $379 to $210 makes for quite a steal — as long as you’re not too picky. Don’t worry, the jacket is available in small through extra large. However, only one of the dozen colors is so sharply discounted: Caribou, which is sort of a dull bronze. But honestly, it’s a pretty good-looking color, and a month or so from now, you’ll be stoked to have it in your wardrobe. — Steve Mazzucchi

Hydro Flask Soft Cooler Pack
Save $94: Long known for excellent travel and fitness bottles, Hydro Flask entered the soft cooler market last year and has been crushing the category ever since. No surprise, then, that the brand’s Soft Cooler Pack was one of our favorite backpack coolers of the summer. We took it to the recent Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival and it rocked, keeping our beer cold for several hours.

And now this high-quality item is on sale at a hard-to-beat discount at REI. At $181, this pack is not only 34% off its regular price of $275, but also the $94 you’ll save should be enough to buy several six packs, no matter your geographic location or level of beer snobbery. — Steve Mazzucchi

AGV Pista GP R Carbon Winter Test 2018 Helmet
Save 44%:  The AGV Pista GP R Carbon series is essentially the top-of-the-line MotoGP motorcycle race helmet. AGV uses a super-light 100-percent carbon fiber shell and optimizes it in the wind tunnel for optimal stability, aerodynamics, and ventilation. It also has an integrated, no-fuss hydration system.

Splurging on a helmet is not abnormal. It is, after all, the most important piece of gear a motorcycle rider can buy. But, even for the everyday rider willing to spend, the AGV Pista GP R Carbon tends to be overkill for an off-the-rack helmet, with pricing sitting at around $1,600. That calculation may change with this massive discount: RevZilla is currently having a closeout sale on the 2018 Winter Test graphic version of the helmet, a limited-edition collaboration worn by seven-time MotoGP champ Valentino Rossi. You can now get it for just $900 — a $700 discount.

One potential drawback to that helmet, however — the color pattern is a bit much. Fortunately for those who prefer a bit less exuberance, this more sedate Project 46 2.0 version of the AGV Pista GP R Carbon is available on RevZilla with an identical discount. — Tyler Duffy

Cotopaxi Outdoor Apparel
Save up to 70%: In its own words, Utah-based gear brand Cotopaxi is “into funky.” That proclamation becomes evident with a quick scroll through its site — there are a lot of colors. Even muted grays and blacks seem to pop, somehow. All that vibrancy and the eclectic pairing of clashing hues belies the fact that Cotopaxi’s gear is pretty damn technical. It’s Fuego Down Jacket, for instance, is stuffed with 800-fill water-resistant down, and its Sambaya Stretch Fleece Crew pullover is made of Polartec’s Power Stretch Pro fabric.

Both of those items are currently on sale — the down jacket is down from $230 to $140 and the pullover, originally $120, is just $30 — as part of a massive end of summer sale. Kamado Joe 18-Inch Grill
Save $400: Most grillers have heard of the Big Green Egg — a heavy ceramic, heat-retaining, outdoor grill, smoker and oven. Anyone who’s tried to buy one also knows they don’t come cheap and that you can’t buy them online. The Egg didn’t have much real competition in its space for the first few decades of its existence (the company was founded in the mid-70s), but it has encountered a great deal of it with Kamado Joe.

The Kamado Joe is a heavy ceramic, heat-retaining, outdoor grill, smoker and oven that’s backed by a lifetime warranty), and it’s available online and comes with features the Big Green Egg doesn’t. The two most impactful is its patented Divide & Conquer cooking system, which manifests itself as grates that can be lifted up or down in certain sections (BBQ Guys has a nice illustration of it), and an ash drawer that slides out for simplified cleaning (the lid is also much easier to lift, for what it’s worth).

Typically retailing north of $1,000, the 18-inch Kamado Joe Classic is more than $400 off at Lowe’s right now. — Will Price

Save 35%: British outerwear brand Barbour has been making durable weather-resistant jackets since 1894 and has a reputation for quality. Recently, the brand teamed up with NYC-based label Engineered Garments to reimagine a number of classic silhouettes. The collab pieces — a bomber jacket, a cropped jacket, a riding coat and a smock — are made in England from lightweight, hydrocarbon-coated cotton and feature raglan-sleeve construction. And now at End, they’re priced to sell at a 35 percent discount. If you need a lightweight layer to keep you dry as summer comes to an end, these styles are definitely worth a look. — John Zientek

Bell Race Star Helmets
Save Up to 50%: Bell’s Race Star helmet is a dynamite motorcycle lid for anyone who plans on hitting the track or back roads with verve. (Or at least wants other riders to think they’re hitting the pavement with verve.) Made with a carbon fiber 3K Carbon Shell to minimize weight, the Race Star doesn’t sacrifice offers protection at the altar of lightness; it meets or goes beyond Snell M2015 and DOT certifications, and packs a three-layer Flex Impact Liner to deal with crashes at any speeds. It’s been tested in wind tunnels to make sure the air flows over it with minimal fuss, while the Panovision viewport offers better visibility in all directions compared with Bell helmets past. And, of course, it just looks sweet.

Right now, thanks to a closeout deal over at Revzilla, you can pick up several variants of the Bell Race Star for massive savings — as much as 50% off on certain models. But there is, however, a catch: These sales are only available on small and extra-small helmets. If you need a bigger lid, you’ll probably want to look elsewhere; but if you’re cursed/blessed with a tiny head, well, today’s your lucky day.

Chaco Sandal Sale
Save 70%: Sandals are made for summer, and thanks to recent reductions in the stigmatization of strappy, open-toe footwear, this particular summer seems to be the ideal season to dust off the pair at the back of your closet. Sandals aren’t just for camping and whitewater rafting anymore either: fashionistas might hate to admit it, but sandals are a common sight everywhere from Colorado to downtown Manhattan (wearing them with socks — gasp! — is also becoming a thing).

Maybe you missed this bandwagon the last time it came around, or your old pair is in need of a refresh. In either case, now is an excellent time because REI is selling Chaco sandals in a range of different styles at up to 70 percent off. — Tanner Bowden

All-Clad Factory Second Cookware
Save Up to 75%: All-Clad’s covetable cookware has been the option for high-end stainless steel since the brand literally invented bonded cookware in 1971. The only knock against them? That price tag.

Today, however, is a mammoth exception — the All-Clad factory seconds sale is live. The lot includes pieces from all the brand’s classic lines — D5, C4, non-stick and a few limited edition lines. But if you just want classic All-Clad, look under the section labeled “Stainless Cookware.” There you’ll find all the saute pans, fry pans, stock pots and sauciers you could ever want.

At up to 75 percent off, these are the lowest prices you’ll find on unused All-Clad outside of visiting the company’s in-person seconds sale at the factory. — Will Price

RMU Outdoors BRFCS Travel Bag
Save 15%: Rocky Mountain Underground, or RMU for short, is a ski company, but its BRFCS is a contender in the realm of adventure travel bags. The BRFCS — fill in the vowels for pronunciation — was the Colorado brand’s second foray into outdoor and travel and builds on the success of its Core Pack, an all-purpose backcountry adventure backpack.

The BRFCS is a carry-on compatible bag with a 35-liter base capacity that expands to 50 liters. RMU outfitted its interior with compartmentalized storage for clothing, (there’s enough room for ski boots), and smaller zip pockets for necessities and essentials; there’s also a false bottom. The BRFCS also features a padded laptop sleeve and a removable compression strap with hardware that doubles as a bottle opener. It can be carried like its namesake, with backpack straps and a stow-away hipbelt or as a shoulder bag.

The BRFCS is currently available at a discount of 15% off at Huckberry.

Bose QuietComfort 20 In-Ear Headphones
Save $100: Even though there are a bunch of really good over-ear noise-canceling headphones – the Sony WH-1000XM3 being our new favorites, edging out the Bose QC35 II – there aren’t nearly as many good in-ear models. There you’ll find the Bose QC20s for $149, which is over $100 less than buying from Bose directly.

Special Edition Fender Deluxe Telecaster
Save $150: For almost 70 years, the Fender Telecaster has been a integral part of countless hit records and live rigs. The workhorse guitar was first introduced as the Broadcaster in 1950, and since then the instrument hasn’t changed a whole lot. The dead-simple design features a solid body with a single cutaway, a bolt-on neck and a couple pickups. That basic setup allowed for versatility and it became a favorite of musicians in genres ranging from country to jazz to metal.

If you’ve been looking to add a Tele to your collection, head over to Guitar Center today. Right now, you can currently save $150 on an already affordable Special Edition Deluxe Telecaster. The guitar merges the best of the classic design with a few new player-centric features.

It has a solid ash body with an aged cherry-burst finish, a 1-piece fast-action maple neck with a modern-C shape, medium jumbo frets and Hot Standard Tele pickups. This Mexican-made Tele also has a vintage-style 3-barrel string-thru-body bridge and cast/sealed machine heads.

Apple Watch Series 4
Save $50: The Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS) is the Apple Watch that most people should buy. It’s the best-looking smartwatch with the biggest and brightest display that Apple has ever created; plus it has all the new features that the Series 3 lacks, including fall detection, a built-in EKG and a variety of fitness features. This model lacks built-LTE, however, but I’d argue that most people don’t need to use their Apple Watch as a phone, nor do they want to pay the extra $10 each month on their phone bill. Right now you can save $50 on either the 40mm or 44mm model. If you’re looking for an even cheaper deal and you’re cool with buying the older Apple Watch, the Series 3 (GPS) is selling for just under $200. — Tucker Bowe

The tech companies we use every day know way more about us than we’d like. It’s a fact. It is no secret at this point that anything we search, click on, or post can be collected, tracked, stored and used by tech companies, advertising agencies and (conspiracy theories aside) the government. Ad blockers and incognito mode do virtually nothing to protect your privacy. To help give you peace of mind — and keep your data private — try the new Winston Online Privacy Device. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) alternative, Winston is a small minimalist box that is plugged-in between your modem and router that shields all the information passing through your home or office network. It does this by scrambling your information between different locations, obscuring its point of origin and giving you the protection you need. Winston also blocks over 90,000 different advertising and tracking sites helping to declutter your online experience as well. You can grab a Winston from its Kickstarter page below.

Schuberth C4 Spark
Save 53%: Riding a motorcycle is a delight for the senses, but it can grow a little weary on the ears after a while. Between the roar of the wind rushing past and the drone of the engine, it doesn’t take long for the sounds of a ride to push into the irritation zone — or even start to cause causing hearing damage.

Of course, a good helmet can help offset those potentially-deafening noises. And right now, one of the quietest helmets on the market today—the Schuberth C4 Spark Helmet—is on sale for a massive 53 percent off at RevZilla. — Will Sabel Courtney

But now, anyone can get a 128GB model for just $899 thanks to a deal at Best Buy.

Before the Air’s redesign and resurrection in 2018, the plucky little laptop was notable for being the only sub-$1,000 notebook in Apple’s lineup. While the official list price may still be above that threshold, this deal will let you relive the glory days of buying a MacBook that won’t break the bank. — Eric Limer

Foehn Apparel Sale
Save 50%: By now, you’ve heard the catchline “city to mountain;” maybe even “trail to tavern,” “backcountry to bar,” “slope to sidewalk” and all the other alliterations that describe versatile gear that’s both functional and stylish. Not all items that get the distinction actually work that way though — they’re often less technical and don’t look that great, jacks of both trades and masters of neither. One brand that’s managed to find that perfect balance is Foehn, a small rock climbing apparel company based in Canada.

We’ve tested everything that Foehn makes — from the pants that the company launched with to its down hoodie pullover — everywhere from the streets of Brooklyn to the high crags of the Rocky Mountains. It works. It looks good. It draws attention in both urban and backcountry environments (“Who makes those pants?!”). Listed as $60 on Nintendo’s website, but in order to buy an NES Classic Edition you have to order from a third-party seller like Amazon, which is currently selling models for $80. For a little bit of a deal, however, check out eBay: it’s selling refurbished (by Nintendo) models for just $50. That’s $30 cheaper than what they’re going for on Amazon. — Tucker Bowe

— Tucker Bowe |

And over the past eight decades, the design hasn’t changed much.

In recent years, however, the brand received investment from L capital — a private-equity fund sponsored by LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) — along with IFM Investors and Hugh Jackman.
