McLaren Special Operations has just revealed a new bespoke commission (BC-03) hypercar named the Sabre. The vehicle has been exclusively designed and approved for the US market only and will be limited to 15 units.
The new McLaren Sabre uses a heavily modified 4.0L V8 twin-turbo from the Senna developing 830hp and 800nm of torque, altogether for a top speed of 218mph. This makes it the most powerful non-hybrid McLaren V8 model. From a visual approach, the Sabre appears to have Senna and Speedtail design cues.
Each of the 15 units will be designed and specialized according to the new owner’s taste. The owners were included in the development process and allowed to do a test drive a couple of times while being monitored before giving back their feedback.

The Naran is the latest of a series of sports cars created by start up companies looking to build a name for themselves in the car industry. It’s built around the BMW M8 super GT with an entirely new design. The company calls it a hyper-coupe and is meant to give thrilling experience of a GT3 car in 2+2 configuration. The company behind it is Naran Automotive, started by Ameerh Naran. Ameerh was raised in Zimbabwe and has experience in the private jet industry which he currently runs in Africa and Asia.
The Naran takes the BMW M8 to new levels, all the parameters from BMW have been maxed out. The 4.4L S63 twin turbo V8 has been bored out to 5.0 liters. It now produces 1048hp and 1036 nm of torque. The sprint from 0-60mph is achieved in 2.3s according to the company’s estimations.
Further to the transmission, The Naran borrows the clever BMW “4×4 mode” found on the new xDrive systems, where one can switch from AWD to RWD using a button, the 8 speed automatic transmission is in play here too but with modifications in order to accommodate the added power.
The company has a mission too: to make the fastest four seat hypercar around the Nurburgring. The Naran will be limited to 49 cars only. Now in design and/or prototype phase the hyper coupe shares a common designer with the Apollo IE and P72 – Jowyn Wong of Wyn Design.

In just a span of 3 years we have witnessed cars like the Apollo IE, DeTomaso P72, Aspark Owl, Rimac One and more go from concept to realization. Confirming further the demand for ultra exclusive cars among supercar collectors.
In the past, the supercar market was dominated by the likes of Bugatti, Ferrari and Lamborghini. Exclusivity was the cash cow for most of these brands, but with some going public and others changing their marketing strategies, the concept of exclusivity shifted from producing a few hundred cars to producing thousands of units. While this makes more money for them, it dilutes the exclusivity feeling among these high end collectors – ultimately forcing them to seek products elsewhere. This was the success base for Pagani and Koenigsegg who understood these needs better. Bugatti’s strategy for example involves numerous limited editions of the Chiron, while Ferrari no longer numbers their limited cars (Pista for example), they instead call it “limited by production time” which basically means they will produce as many as possible within a given time frame – as long as the orders keep coming in.
November 25, 2020 / Comments Off on Zimbabwean Investor Reveals a 1048hp Hypercar: The Naran
The United Kingdom announced plans to ban gasoline and diesel powered cars by 2030, the latest country to push for emission free cars on their roads. Europe has been on the front line of this fight against ICEs, a fight that saw every car maker adopt hybrid technology to lower their fleet emissions.
For supercar makers like McLaren, this could only mean one thing: it’s time to give in to the pressure if we want to stay in business. The company has done hybrids before, but these were not ordinary hybrids. The P1 for example pioneered hybrid tech in the world of hypercars before making way for the extremely limited McLaren Speedtail.
The new McLaren Artura will now usher in a new era of McLaren supercars. Using a V6 for the first time, the hybrid will likely put out the same power as the current V8 lineups. By doing this they will start the transition into an inevitable EV future while also meeting the ever growing emission standards. Ferrari will do the same with their upcoming V6 hybrid, set to sit below the SF90 model, itself being a V8 hybrid.
You may wonder, what type of supercar owner wants to drive a hybrid? let alone a V6 hybrid? Well this is how it works. The world is currently divided into two groups on every matter that you can think of, be it climate, politics, food, sports etc. Cars are in the center of all things climate, accused of being the major catalyst in climate change. Most supercar owners want a screaming V8 in their McLaren, but most new age buyers are against ICEs and will not drive anything that pollutes the environment. That said, McLaren (and others) may survive a few years with current engines but once that buyer group is depleted, you are left with anti ICE buyers. By then, cancel culture alone will overwhelm any efforts to sell a V8 supercar. And that, ladies and gentlemen is one of the reasons why every car maker is rushing to “save the world”.

A new V12-powered, one-off Ferrari made its debut today. The Ferrari Omolagata is the latest of Ferrari’s coach built models.
The Ferrari Omologata was commissioned by a European client and took a little over two years to complete. It is the 10th front-engined V12 one-off Ferrari has delivered since the Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta in 2009.
2020 Ferrari Omologata
Finished in Rosso Magma (a new shade of red for the Italian brand), the Ferrari Omologata sits on a Ferrari 812 Superfast platform.
Externally, only the windscreen and headlights remain of the 812 Superfast. The bodywork is all-aluminium and hand crafted.
The Front bonnet sits lower and elements of classic Ferrari models are visible elsewhere. For example, the side design lines remind us of the 612 Scaglietti, while the section above the rear wheel arch has the feel of a 275 GTB.
Cut out air intakes in the front bumper update a classic design feature of the 250 GTO. At the rear, the engine cover
Inside, the special edition gets electric blue seats finished in leather and Jeans Aunde fabric. A 4-point racing harness hints at Ferrari’s racing focus. Metal parts of the interior are finished with crackled paint effect.
Being an 812 Superfast underneath, it gets Ferrari’s 6.5-litre V12 engine which produces an impressive 789 hp at 8,500 rpm together with torque of 718 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The regular 812 Superfast is capable of top speeds in excess of 340 Km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of just 2.9 sec. It’s not clear whether the Ferrari Omologata makes any improvements.
It’s an eclectic mix of Ferrari elements. We hope that the owner enjoys the car and we get to see it out in public!

The new BMW M3 and BMW M4 have officially debuted. They must be the most talked about models in BMW’s history, owing to BMW’s new grille design.
Looking past that controversy though, there is plenty to like about the next-generation BMW M3 and BMW M4.
BMW M3 and BMW M4: Highlights
– Powered by a 3.0 litre six-cylinder engine, producing 480 hp or 510 hp for the Competition model. – Kidney grille allows improved air flow – Carbon fibre roof and flared wheel arches – Adaptive suspension and electronic dampers – BMW Live Cockpit Professional – Optional M Carbon Bucket Seats
BMW M3 and BMW M4: Engine and Chassis
Both cars are powered by a 3.0 litre, six-cylinder engine which comes in two flavours; a standard model and a Competition model. The former produces 480 hp, the latter, 510 hp.
In the BMW M3 Sedan, the 100 km/h sprint times are 4.2 seconds and 3.9 seconds respectively. The M4 Coupe manages the same statistics.
Customers will have the choice of either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. BMW plan to release a version which uses the xDrive all-wheel-drive system in summer 2021.
xDrive models will get an Active M Differential, rear-wheel-biased setup, with three selectable modes: 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD.
The suspension is adaptive with electronically controlled shock absorbers and M Servotronic steering. There is a new integrated braking system with two settings for pedal feel and response. M Compound brakes come as standard, with M Carbon ceramic brakes optional.
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) includes an M Dynamic Mode and, for the first time, integrated wheel slip limitation and M Traction Control adjustable through ten stages.
BMW M3 and BMW M4: Design
Both models get distinct designs. To start with the most obvious feature, the new frameless kidney grille. It gets horizontal bars, as opposed to the traditional vertical versions.
Typical BMW wheel arch flares give both cars the M-car look, alongside M gills, side sill extensions and new front and rear aprons.
Both BMW M3 and BMW M4 get a carbon-fibre roof with aerodynamically optimised fins. There is a small rear spoiler and a familiar quad tailpipe. BMW offer a range of new, exclusive exterior paint finishes and M Carbon exterior package and BMW M Performance Parts available as options.

It’s been 51 years since the first of Nissan’s Z Cars, the Nissan Fairlady 240Z, made its debut. The current Nissan 370Z has been around since early 2009. Its long overdue replacement is previewed today by the Nissan Z Proto.
Revealed as a near-production prototype, the Nissan Z Proto has potential to morph into a new Nissan 400Z. The 400Z is widely expected to be the 7th generation Z Car. When released, it should compete with the likes of the Toyota Supra, taking us back to the 1990’s.
Nissan Z Proto: Overview
Nissan Z Proto
– Previews the upcoming Nissan 400Z – Nissan Z Car styling brought up to date – Powered by a modified V6 engine and fitted with a manual gearbox – The interior gets a fresh look with new digital displays
Nissan Z Proto: Exterior
The most eye catching feature of the Nissan Z Proto is its bright yellow pearlescent paint. This harks back to the classic first-generation 240Z and the 300ZX. The paint scheme was a popular option on both models.
The design is fairly minimalist. The front air intake is one large black hole framed by a sharp front bonnet and front splitter. Either side, the Z Proto gets teardrop-shaped LED headlights.
The roofline flows from the nose to the squared-off rear to create a distinctive first-generation Z profile. The rear interprets the 300ZX rear lights for the modern era with a black frame and exhaust pipes similar to the outgoing 370Z.
The side skirts, front lower lip and rear valance are all produced from carbon fibre. The Z Proto uses a revised V6 twin-turbocharged engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. An automatic transmission will be optional with the production version.
Nissan Z Proto: Interior
Inside, the Nissan Z Proto gets a 12.3-inch digital meter display, three analogue dials mounted to the dashboard and a deep dish steering wheel.
Otherwise, the Z Proto looks fairly modern inside. It arrives with plenty of leather trim, with what looks like alcatara and yellow accents.
Nissan Z Proto: What does the future hold?
The Nissan Z Proto is one of 10 new vehicles that Nissan is showing for the US in 20 months. Clearly, it hopes to revive its fortunes after falling on hard times in recent years.
This intense focus on the US market will mean that the eventual 400Z is unlikely to make it to European shores. For markets that will get the 400Z, the wait is likely to be in the region of 2 years.

Aston Martin’s Q by Aston Martin recently revealed its most ambitious project to date. The Aston Martin Victor is a one-off. Built from a mix of Vulcan and One-77 parts, it has taken the internet by storm.
The name picks up where the Vulcan left off. The Victor was a jet-powered strategic bomber, the last of three V Bombers which included the Vulcan. Produced by Handley Page, these bombers were designed to carry the British nuclear deterrent.
Aston Martin Victor Highlights
Aston Martin Victor
– Inspired by the iconic Aston Martin V8 Vantage of the 1970s and 80s – Pentland Green exterior – Forest Green and Conker Bridge of Weir leather, cashmere and carbon interior – 842 Nm of downforce at 100 mph – 7.3-litre V12 engine producing 836 bhp – 6-speed manual with power delivered to the rear
Design
The Victor is a bespoke Aston Martin design. It looks like no other modern Aston Martin. Many of its design elements were inspired by the Aston Martin RHAM/1 racer, itself built off the platform of an Aston Martin DBS V8.
Aston Martin’s iconic front grille sits front and centre. Either side, two simple circular headlights keep the design clear, sitting atop a deep front splitter. The front bonnet includes a deep ‘U’ shaped air vent, similar to the Vantage GT12.
A long design-line runs the entire length of the side with an elongated side air outlet. The side sill is taken directly front the Vulcan. A boat tail rear end blends simplicity with complex details. The 18 individual light strips that make up the rear lights and the deep rear diffuser are highlights.
Chassis & Power
The Aston Martin Victor uses a One-77 chassis. It weighs less than an original One-77 with GT4 levels of downforce. It is capable of producing 842 Nm of downforce at 100 mph, compared to 525Nm for a race-prepared Vantage GT4.
The One-77’s naturally-aspirated 7.3-litre V12 has been rebuilt by Cosworth. It now puts out 836 bhp and 821 Nm of torque, uprated from One-77’s 750 bhp and 750 Nm ratings.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, supplied by Graziano. As the most powerful manual Aston Martin, the Victor includes a bespoke motorsport clutch.
Interior
The interior is pure Vulcan. Heavily redesigned, yet retaining the feel of Aston Martin’s unique racer, the Victor includes huge carbon fibre shapes.
The digital dashboard display is complemented by a second central infotainment system. The steering wheel is lifted straight from the Vulcan while the gear shift gets a traditional wooden touch.
Pricing is unknown as the Aston Martin Victor is a one-off. Hopefully Q by Aston Martin takes on more of these projects in years to come!
September 5, 2020 / Comments Off on Aston Martin Victor: 1 of 1 Hypercar Built from Vulcan and One-77 Parts
What a year it has been so far, eh? But also one filled with an array of amazing new car debuts, there will be even more to come as we come to a slow end of the year. For now though, lets look at some of the cars that kept the car world buzzing with excitement, from sports cars to hypercars and SUVs – hard to even talk about cars nowadays without an SUV coming up.
Here we go…
1. Ford Bronco
My personal favorite, one of the few rugged 4×4 SUVs on the market in a very niche market dominated by the Jeep Wrangler. The Bronco is an old soul reborn, and Ford did not disappoint. From the design, to the options available (including a manual transmission), this is easily the coolest SUV on the market right now.

The Gordon Murray T.50 supercar has been officially revealed. With a central seating position, manual transmission and a euphoric V12, the ex-McLaren engineer returns to his tried and tested formula.
Of course, Gordon Murray is best known for his work on the McLaren F1 and on the cult-classic Light Car Company ‘Rocket’. The T.50 uses lessons learned from both projects, packaged into something entirely new.
We have already learnt quite a lot about the 3.9 litre V12 engine unit. Today we learn that it weighs just 986 kg!
Gordon Murray T.50 V12
Today’s global premiere allows us to reveal the T.50’s full spec list. Unlike the F1, Gordon Murray is not chasing top speed or power records.
That low kerb weight of 986 kg’s makes it the lightest supercar of the modern era. By way of reference, the McLaren Speedtail weighs a hefty 1,430 kg. Dry, the Gordon Murray T.50 weighs 957 kg.
The chassis is a high-grade carbon tub monocoque with carbon fibre body panels. The combination weighs less than 150 kg.
Driving home the analogue feel, ESP and traction control programs can be entirely disabled in the Gordon Murray T.50.
The 400 mm rear-mounted ground-effect fan is a big part of the aerodynamic program. Depending on the mode, it helps increase downforce by 50%, reduce drag by 12.5%, add 50 hp in power and cut braking distance by 10 metres from 150 mph. It is assisted by two dynamic rear spoilers.
Murray has designed six aerodynamic modes, operated through a mixture of active and interactive fan assistance. These include Auto, High Downforce, Streamline, Braking, Test and V-Max Boost; the latter uses ram induction to raise power to 700 hp.
The design clearly echoes that of the McLaren F1. It gets a similar shape to its front end and a near-identical window design. It even uses a set of dihedral doors.
Murray’s purist design approach takes centre-stage externally. There are no unsightly flaps, vents or wings. Everything has a purpose on the Gordon Murray T.50.
Inside there is enough space for three passengers with luggage too.
Of course, the unique selling point is the central driving position. Something McLaren sought to revive with the new Speedtail. The driver sits surrounded with aerospace-grade controls.
Power is delivered through a bespoke Cosworth 3.9-litre V12. It produces 663 hp at 11,500 rpm and torque of 467 Nm at 9,000 rpm. It should be the lightest road going V12, weighing just 178 kg.
The transmission is provided by Xtrac. The manual box is H-pattern with six speeds, five close ratios and a sixth for cruising.
Just 100 copies of the Gordon Murray T.50 will be produced at a cost of £2.36 million pre-tax. Customers will be fitted for a seat, steering wheel and pedals – the supercar tailoring experience!
Customers will begin to get their cars in January 2022, constructed at a Gordon Murray Automotive facility in the UK.

The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 joins a growing marketplace for no-limits hypercars. It seems that, for the super-rich, they are the must-have accessory.
Aston Martin has its Vulcan, Ferrari has its FXXK, McLaren has its Senna GTR; and now Lamborghini has the Essenza SCV12. It is also the first GT car developed to respect FIA prototype safety rules.
Developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse and designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile, the Essenza SCV12 is limited to just 40 examples.
Lamborghini Essenza SCV12
In its press release, Lamborghini evokes some hardcore history. Cars like the Miura Jota and Diablo GTR. The Essenza SCV12 has big boots to fill!
Details remain a little loose. Lamborghini has confirmed that the SCV12 is powered by a V12 rated to 830 hp. The power increase is said to be caused, in part, by RAM effect at high speeds.
Lamborghini has gone outside for the exhaust pipes which were designed by Capristo. A new X-trac sequential six-speed gearbox is structurally mounted to the frame.
The Essenza SCV12 gets a new-generation carbon fiber monocoque chassis which makes do without an internal rollcage.
Push-rod rear suspension is installed directly onto the gearbox. Pirelli tires are mounted on magnesium rims (19” front, 20” rear), which frame the brake discs and callipers supplied by Brembo.
The unique aerodynamics achieve a staggering 1,200 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. The looks are dominated by a large adjustable double-profile rear wing, while other components are inspired by the Lamborghini Huracan race cars.

Okay, perhaps Porsche should have skipped the camouflage: It draws more attention to our Panamera than it would have received without the attention-grabbing stickers. We are behind the wheel of the facelifted Porsche Panamera, to be launched in late August; it is fine-tuned in every respect – and still by far the sportiest entry in the luxury car segment.
The Panamera has two faces: Built in two wheelbases and with a Sport Turismo station wagen derivative, it offers all the room of an Audi A8, a BMW 7-series or a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. And since a new, technologically stunning S-Class is just around the corner, Porsche needed to do something to make the Panamera an even better, more comfortable long-distance cruiser.
2021 Porsche Panamera Facelift
That’s why it is a bit softer in the comfort-oriented driving modes, and that’s why the infotainment system has been vastly upgraded: It is faster than before, it features a higher-resolution display screen and it has a superior voice recognition system. The Panamera, if so desired by the driver and passengers, offers a serene environment ideally suited to long-distance travel.
But the upgraded chassis and tweaked driving modes can swing the other way, too: Improvements to the adaptive damping system, the anti-roll system, the torque vectoring system and the noticeably sharper steering turn the Porsche Panamera into an even better performer. And that’s important as well, as new competitors such as the four-door AMG GT and the BMW M8 Gran Coupe have arrived on the scene.
Changes to the exterior are rather minimal: The rear light strip now runs in an unbroken line from side to side, the Sport Design package is henceforth standard, and there are the obligatory new wheels and colors. Inside, there is a new steering wheel and new available wood trim. And we praise Porsche for keeping the traditional gated gear selector that allows the driver to up- and downshift with the flick of the wrist. Alternatively, there are solid and beautifully executed shifter paddles.
The powertrain lineup is significantly upgraded, with two conventional 2.9-liter V-6 models, two 4.0-liter V-8 models and three plug-in hybrids, of which two are based on the V-6 and one on the V-8. The battery is bigger than before, electric range grows by 30 per cent. All-wheel drive is standard with the exception of a few select markets, where Porsche offers and entry-level model with rear-wheel drive, and all models are fitted with a quick-shifting eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, affectionately known as Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe.
The six-cylinder lineup consists of the Panamera 4 with 330 horsepower and the Panamera 4S with 440 horsepower; the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid will make around 460 horsepower, while the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid – a new addition to the lineup – is rated at 560 horsepower.
The V-8 lineup begins with the GTS, which climbs from 460 to 480 horsepower; the 550-horsepower Turbo is killed off in favor of a 630-horsepower Turbo S, and there is only one hybrid here: The Turbo S E-Hybrid, which gets another 70 horsepower to crack 700.
But enthusiasts should know that the Turbo S is fitted with a more interesting engine than the Turbo S E-Hybrid: While the hybrid’s V-8 carries over unchanged and is largely identical to the electronically detuned unit on the GTS, the 630-horsepower unit is significantly fine-tuned with unique pistons, crankshaft and timing chain, larger turbochargers, new injectors and even higher-performance spark plugs. Add to this the fact that it is very significantly less heavy than the hybrid, the enthusiast’s choice should be clear: Pick the regular Turbo S, and it’ll likely be faster on the track, too.
If it’s comfortable long-distance cruising you’re after, the choice is less clear. The hybrids are economical only when driven over short distances and duly plugged in after each drive. Meanwhile, Porsche has missed the opportunity to bring back the fabulous 4.0-liter V-8 diesel that was briefly available on the pre-facelift model and commands sky-high prices on the used-car market. Our choice would therefore be the GTS: You can’t beat the V-8 rumble – it’s just so soothing.
We loved driving the facelifted Panamera. Look for the cover to come off in late August.

The much-anticipated Ford Bronco finally dropped last night. The rugged American SUV is reborn with a range of two and four-door models.
What is the Ford Bronco?
It’s been a while since the Ford Bronco dropped out of Ford’s regular line-up. The Bronco was born in 1965.
It was initially designed to compete with the Jeep CJ-5 and International Harvester Scout, meaning that the first generation had off-road credentials.
Following generations moved from the compact SUV of the first generation, to a full-size body style as Ford’s customers preferred a more-road focused SUV.
Sales of the Ford Bronco came to an end in 1996 after five generations to make way for the Ford Expedition and the Ford Explorer.
The Ford Bronco name is probably most synonymous with a car chase. On 17 June 1994, 95 million TV viewers watched police slowly chase O.J. Simpson in a white Ford Bronco down Los Angeles’ Interstate 405.
Ford had been due to unveil the Ford Bronco on 9 July 2020, however, the date was moved as it inadvertently coincided with O.J. Simpson’s birthday!
Born Wild
2021 Ford Bronco
The sixth generation Ford Bronco debuts as a complete range, under the catchphrase “Born Wild”.
The Bronco gets a classic two-door model and, for the first time, a four-door model. Both models will have a range of 200 accessories to choose from offering maximum customisation.
The styling is suitably retro with a huge, upright Bronco grille and a boxy look. Square proportions, short overhangs and a wide stance make it suited to off-roading.
Two-door models come with a removable three-section roof system. The press release tends to suggest that it is an option to specify a removable four-panel system which includes a removable panel over the rear compartment. First-row panels stow away onboard on two-door models.
Rear quarter windows are removable too, as well as the frameless doors. The four-door model can be optioned with both a soft or hardtop.
Chassis
The new Ford Bronco sits on a fully boxed, high-strength steel chassis. Ford claim it offers class-leading suspension travel.
At the front, the Bronco is fitted with independent front suspension. At the back, a rugged solid axle design features coil springs with five locating links.
Position-sensitive Bilstein dampers are fitted with end-stop control valves at every corner. An exclusive semi-active hydraulic stabilizer bar is also included.
Ford fits massive 35-inch off-road tires direct from the factory on every trim level of two- and four-door Bronco. It’s safe to say this isn’t you standard SUV.
As a result, the new Ford Bronco gets 11.6-inches of ground clearance, a maximum 29-degree breakover angle, a 37.2-degree departure angle, and water fording capability of up to 33.5 inches.
Power
Power is delivered through Ford’s EcoBoost engine range. A 2.7 litre V6 is available with 310 hp and 400 lb.ft of torque. A lower model will also be offered with a 2.3 litre 4-cylinder engine producing 270 hp and 310 lb.ft of torque.
Power will be routed through a choice of either 7-speed manual gearbox or 10-speed automatic transmissions.
To give it maximum low-speed rock-climbing capability, the manual transmission is paired with an advanced 4×4 system with automatic on-demand engagement.
The transmission offers several driving modes including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery and Sand, with Baja, Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl for off-road driving.
Two four-wheel drive options are available, a base setup and advanced 4×4. The base system uses a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case, while the optional advanced system features a two-speed electromechanical transfer case.
Electronic offerings include Trail Toolbox, an electronic program to improve off-road performance, and Trail Control, cruise control for low speed off-roading. Trail Turn Assist uses torque vectoring to reduce turning circle.
Interior
Inside, the new Ford Bronco gets a classic, upright dashboard incorporating a massive touchscreen. It gets over-the-air updates and seamless integration to the FordPass Performance app.
The SYNC system also displays views from the 360-degree camera system. The system comes with more than 1,000 curated trail maps powered by NeoTreks’ AccuTerra Maps, Trails Offroad trail guides and FunTreks trail guides.
Otherwise, the interior features washable rubberized floors with integrated drains and marine-grade vinyl seating surfaces. The instrument panel surfaces are wipeable, with seamless silicone rubber on the switches.
Competition & Availability
The Ford Bronco is designed to compete with the Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Wrangler, and to a lesser extend, the Land Rover Defender.
Production of the new Ford Bronco begins in early 2021 with the first models arriving in Ford dealerships next spring.

The leaked Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series photos show extensive modifications to the wide-body of the supercar. Starting from the rear, the Black Series gets a new rear diffuser with rear wheel vents sitting either side of massive quad exhaust tailpipes.
The twin rear spoiler looks adjustable in the photos with an interesting mount which sits towards the central of the rear end. The rear boot lid is also replaced with a more distinct lip than any other GT model.
The sides include a new skirt and a new front wheel vent. Towards the front, the bonnet is all-new, incorporating carbon fibre accent panels and a set of fender vents to cement the extreme new look.
The front bumper has a comprehensive redesign too with a new grille, deeper front splitter, carbon fibre flicks and a set of canards.
Its not clear if the dual tone finish is the release colour, or whether the parts are exposed to show where Mercedes-AMG has made modifications. Regardless, it seems clear that we weren’t supposed to see the finished product just yet.
What else do we know about the Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series?
What these leaked Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series don’t confirm is what hides underneath. It’s almost certain that the 4.0 litre V8 will receive some work. Reports in other publications have confirmed that the tune will likely push power up to 720 hp and 850 Nm of torque.
We also expect Mercedes-AMG to make the Black Series limited edition.

We thought Mansory would be the first to turn its hands to the McLaren Senna. Clearly we were wrong! Novitec has presented a subtle set of updates for the track-focused McLaren. They range from a new wheelset to a substantial boost in performance.
Novitec’s package centres around a 102 hp power boost applied to the McLaren Senna’s 4.0-litre V8 engine. It now produces 902 hp and 888 Nm of torque. The power boost is achieved through a three-stage plug-and-play engine control unit which modifies the mapping for fuel injection, ignition and boosts pressure control.
The Senna now arrives at 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. Top speed is 335 km/h. This makes it 0.1 seconds quicker to 100 km/h and 0.3 seconds quicker to 200 km/h.
Other additions include a new superlight high-performance inconel exhaust system. If you choose this option, Novitec can finish the tips in matt black. A replacement catalyst pipe is also available. The forged wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.
Novitec also offers customised interiors for all vehicles. Novitec chose to keep the bodywork as it was, making changes only to the wheels and engine. Still, if you want extra spice for your 1 of 500 McLaren Senna, there is no other option!

The top-speed focused Koenigsegg Jesko did materialise earlier this week. It had been widely rumoured during the lead up to the Geneva Motor Show 2020. The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is set to be the fastest Koenigsegg ever built and compromise downforce for a low drag coefficient.
The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut isn’t a special edition either. What Koenigsegg has unveiled is essentially a spec option, available to all Jesko customers.
The Koenigsegg’s USP is its extremely low drag coefficient. At just 0.278 Cd, it glides through the air, using optimised aerodynamics to stabilise the experience. Downforce is reduced to 40 kg at 250 km/h up to a maximum of 150 kg. The standard Jesko has 800 kg at 250 km/h with a maximum of 1,400 kg.
Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
The drag coefficient is achieved through the ditching the massive rear spoiler. Two fins replace it, taking inspiration from the F-15 fighter jet. The practical effect is to clm airflow over the rear bodywork, reducing total drag.
Further changes include an extended rear hood, covered rear wheels, a lowered ride height and the removal of the front wheel louvres and front hood air duct.
Koenigsegg refuses to say exactly how fast the Jesko will go. Announcing the car, Christiaan von Koenigsegg made it clear that Koenigsegg is open to the idea of testing the top speed but didn’t yet have a location to conduct such a test. The previous record run in the Koenigsegg Agera RS was carried out on a closed road in the US, it’s not entirely clear whether such a road might yield higher speeds, perhaps in excess of the 300 mph mark.
The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut uses that same twin-turbocharged 5.0 litre V8, mounted to a 180-degree crankshaft and a nine-speed Light Speed Transmission system. Power totals 1,600 bhp on E85 feel with 1,500 Nm of torque at 5,100 rpm.
Koenigsegg has made adjustments to the suspension too, the front suspension is more compact, it is softer too, which makes it a less serious drive around a race track. Koenigsegg also claims that a 1:1 power ratio is achieved with a full tank of fuel, luggage and two persons on board.
Koenigsegg’s press conference also confirmed that the Regera will finish production by the end of this year, allowing Koenigsegg to begin production of the Jesko next year alongside its other projects.

Aston Martin’s Speedster has been officially revealed. The British brand’s marketing department have clearly been sipping the creative juices once again. They took the ‘name it as you see it approach’, arriving at the name Aston Martin V12 Speedster.
The V12 Speedster competes with the Ferrari Monza SP2 and the McLaren Elva, two brand new Speedster models to be launched at a similar price range. It has taken 12 months to build and arrives through the ‘Q by Aston Martin’ team.
Aston Martin V12 Speedster
As you would expect, the V12 Speedster uses Aston Matin’s 5.2-litre, Twin-Turbo V12 engine, with peak outputs of 700 hp and 753Nm of torque. The engine is front-mounted and sends the power it generates through a ZF 8-Speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential driving the rear wheels.
Aston Martin quotes a 100 km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds on the way to a limited top speed of 300 km/h. To create a unique experience, Aston Martin offers a bespoke stainless-steel exhaust system.
The chassis is a mix of bonded aluminium parts lifted from the Vantage and DBS Superleggera models. It gets independent double-wishbone front, and multi-link rear suspension, with coil springs and adaptive damping. The latter offers Sport, Sport+ and Track modes. 21-inch centre locking wheels and carbon-ceramic discs are also. The discs measure 410 mm at the front axle and 360 mm at the rear.
The majority of the bodywork is carbon fibre. The design is similar to the one-off CC100 Speedster Concept of 2013 and takes inspiration from the 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1.
Just 88 will be made available starting at £765,000 including VAT. Deliveries are expected to take place this time next year.

Another special edition Bugatti Chiron arrived this afternoon. The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is limited to 60 examples. This is the Chiron for you if you like the idea of a massive fixed rear wing!
The Pur Sport benefits from less weight and a sharper focus on downforce, its the Chiron for those winding roads. The Pur Sport gets a close-ratio transmission, high-performance tyres with a new material mix geared towards extreme grip as well as an agile chassis and suspension setup.
Whereas the Chiron Super Sport 300+ was set up to hit top speeds, the Pur Sport is set up for optimum lap times. The front gets wide air inlets and an enlarged horseshoe panel to extract air from the radiators. The splitter is lower to the ground which helps to maximise downforce.
Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport
A new split paintwork design has been developed for the Pur Sport. The bottom is a carbon fibre panel while the top half is painted with the choice of a custom centre-line and accents.
The rear is dominated by a 1.90 metre rear spoiler. Part of the 50 kg weight loss is caused by losing the hydraulic component of the Chiron’s automatic rear spoiler. A more aggressive rear diffuser is combined with a distinctive 3D-printed titanium exhaust tip.
Inside, Alcantara surfaces help reduce weight. Patterns have been lasered into the Alcantara door trim panels. All trim and controls are made exclusively of either black, anodised aluminium or titanium.
The wheels are also unique to the Pur Sport. They are magnesium and feature an optional aero blade. The rings fitted to the rim extract air outwards from the wheel. Each of the 5 lug nuts gets a special cover that reduces turbulence. The measures applied to the wheels alone save 16 kg.
The chassis modifications include 65% firmer springs at the front and 33% firmer springs at the rear, an adaptive damping control strategy geared towards performance as well as modified camber values (minus 2.5 degrees). Bugatti add carbon-fibre stabilisers at the front and rear. 19 kg of weight is lost here.
On top of the usual Chiron drive modes, the Chiron Pur Sport features a new Sport + drive mode. The main difference is that the traction control system kicks into action on dry race tracks at a significantly later point. Changes to the transmission mean that the gear ratio that has been configured 15% closer together.
The 8.0 litre W16 engine still kicks out a massive 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque. Due to the higher levels of downforce, the Pur Sport tops out at 350 km/h. Bugatti hasn’t released any performance details aside from the claim that the Chiron Pur Sport accelerates from 60 to 120 km/h almost two seconds faster than the standard Chiron.
40 units of the Bugatti Divo should arrive next year with these Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport models set to be produced in the second half. 60 will be available at three million euros excluding VAT. With the 250th Chiron already leaving the factory gates, and 30 Chiron Super Sport 300+ announced, we calculate that there are a further 120 Chirons left before Bugatti’s self-imposed 500-car quota is hit.
