Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a cyclops? We aren’t sure either, but the stripped-down Ducati Scrambler is certainly something to behold. DeBolex Engineering from the UK are the team behind the masterminding of this unique project.
DeBolex Engineering saw something others missed and that’s the road racing bike masquerading behind the Ducati’s off-road Italian V-twin Scrambler exterior. To transform the bike into a road racing type they had to call upon their impressive metalwork and paint job skills.
They crafted aluminum sheets to form a sleek fairing as well as a slab-sided tank. They also switched the suspension slightly by installing Andreani cartridges at the fork and completely replaced the shock at the rear with a Maxton edition.
The wheels still made use of spokes alike the original but have been improved for purpose with 17” rims compatible with RaceTec Metzler RR tires. These are just some of many alterations but it’s the vison to come up with a concept like this and make it all possible that is really commendable.
The fantastic work of DeBolex Engineering have us eagerly anticipating their next creative feat.
