BioLite Labor Day Sale
Save 15%: BioLite isn’t your typical outdoor equipment company. Its product, instead of aiming to be as lightweight as possible, pack in unexpected functionalities. Take the new FirePit for example — it’s a portable, freestanding fireplace, but it’s also a grill, and its flame is smokeless thanks to an innovative fan system that can be controlled via Bluetooth (the fan module can also charge your phone). These forward-thinking mechanisms are BioLite’s modus operandi; batteries and Bluetooth are at home next to fire and food. In a way, BioLite is as much a tech company is it is an outdoor brand.
For Labor Day, BioLite is providing 15 percent off a variety of its products with the code CHILLOUT. Exclusions apply, but favorites like the CampStove 2 and BaseLantern XL are up for grabs. — Tanner Bowden
Forsake Range Shoes
Save 15%: At the core of the city-to-mountain trend is the idea of versatile functionality, that a jacket or a backpack or a pair of pants could operate in harsh wilderness environments and be minimal and stylish enough for life around town too. When it works, it means you can cull the contents of your closet.
Forsake hit on this idea before it became so popular. Its founders sought a pair of shoes that could handle slush and mud and hiking but were as comfortable and wearable as sneakers. Now there are numerous companies making shoes like this, but Forsake has always led the pack with styles reminiscent of skate shoes and chukkas. Its newest model, the Range, make good on this idea with a water-repellent exterior and a rugged Vibram MegaGrip sole, and it’s available in mid and low profiles on Huckberry for 15 percent off. — Tanner Bowden
Kamado Joe Classic
Save $403>Everyone knows what a Big Green Egg is (or has heard of it, at the very least) — a heavy ceramic, heat-retaining, outdoor grill, smoker and oven. Anyone who’s tried to buy one also knows they don’t come cheap and you can’t buy them online. The Egg didn’t have much real competition in its space for the first few decades of its existence (the company was founded in the mid-70s), but has encountered a great deal of it in Kamado Joe.
The Kamado Joe is also a heavy ceramic, heat-retaining, outdoor grill, smoker and oven (both are backed by lifetime warranties), but it’s available online and comes with features the Big Green Egg doesn’t. The two most impactful is its patented Divide & Conquer cooking system, which manifests itself as grates that can be lifted up or down in certain sections (BBQ Guys has a nice illustration of it), and an ash drawer that slides out for simplified cleaning (the lid is also much easier to lift, for what it’s worth).
Today, the Kamado Joe Classic (18-inch) is $400 off, a price that’s easily the lowest we’ve ever seen it on Amazon. — Will Price

Save 15% If you’re a Mission Impossible or James Bond fan, you’ve likely spotted these metallic-sided suitcases and briefcases. Zero Halliburton designs epic rollaboards from aircraft grade aluminum — a la how NASA moved rock samples from the moon down to earth. It’s that intense. The silver carry-on measures 19-inches and comes with a 10-year warranty, but with the secure closures and stain-resistant lining, it’s unlikely that dust, dirt and grime will have its way with your new suitcase. TSA-friendly is a necessity these days (who is still checking their bags?!), and there’s truly no other way to roll along unless your bag has four wheels. Use code ZERO at checkout to get an additional 15 percent off. — Meg Lappe
