Balega’s Blister Resistant Socks Have a Permanent Spot in Our Sock Drawer
After topping our list as one of the best running socks out there, we were excited, yet apprehensive when we heard Balega was re-creating its blister-resistant socks. The completely redesigned sock is now made from all-natural mohair to help keep blisters at bay as your feet start to sweat.
Mohair is antimicrobial and durable, on par with merino wool. I took these for a few test runs — first at an indoor cycling class, where they weren’t too thick in my tight spin shoes, and then on a track workout on a cold night. The socks have an impressive dry time — they were dry by the time I returned home that night. If the Balega socks weren’t perfect before, they’re certainly close now.
