Ferrari released the first images of its Enzo replacement, dubbed the F70 – although this name is still in the air, in their latest issue of Ferrari Magazine.

The new Ferrari shows off design influences from Ferrari’s FXX track car, the F12 Berlinetta and sports a double-bubble roof made popular again by the Hennessey Venom GT and SRT Viper.

Ferrari’s in-house designer, Flavio Manzoni, described the new Ferrari as having “a three-curve profile (one curve for the front fender, one sweeping curve for the roof and one final curve for the rear fender).

The Enzo successor will be equipped with a V-12 engine combined with two electric motors that will be used to power the rear wheels and the electrical accessories, boosting power and reducing emissions. The Ferrari replacement is rumored to have in excess of 800 horsepower, an possibly as much as 920 hp, with a curb weight of 2,425 pounds.

The all-over carbon fiber chassis will be built for optimum weight and strength from various carbon components including four different carbon fiber blends, each reported to be hand crafted with the same dedication as the Ferrari F1 chassis.
