In light of a recent editorial that appeared on our beloved, respected, award-winning sister publication, Automotive News, Autoweek wishes to issue the following statement:

It is Autoweek’s official editorial policy that the Dodge Demon is good, and we’re glad FCA is building it. Our careful review of the Demon’s specifications and our experience with the Challenger Hellcat have led us to believe that the Demon will be plenty safe when used responsibly. 

We also believe that the fender flares look cool. 

Any attempt, by any regulatory body, to ban or otherwise impede the registration of the Dodge Demon will be met with a lot of complaining from Autoweek.
