As if the iPhone XS isn’t expensive enough, some company goes ahead and covers it in solid gold. Luxury brand Brikk has now unveiled its latest Lux iPhone XS and XS Max collections. They call it “the most opulent collection of communication devices available.”
This shouldn’t be too surprising, though. A lot of luxury customization companies make ultra-expensive and ultra-modified versions the minute latest iPhones are announced. They deck them in diamond, gold, or other similarly premium materials. Then they slap an extravagant price on top of the phone’s retail cost. In Brikk’s case, the company is selling carbon, ceramic, and gold versions of the iPhone XS and XS Max.
The carbon features “an extremely rare form of carbon” also found on Lamborghini cars and start at a hefty $9,995. At around the same price, you can also opt for the 24k yellow gold variants, and if you want pure solid gold instead, you’ll be pleased to know that Brikk is going to release one down the line for $50,000. No biggie.
Brikk is also offering the so-called “Ingot Collection,” with the iPhone XS coated in 250 grams of 22K gold and the XS Max in 313 grams. Both come with a mirror polished back surface, but if that’s not luxurious enough for you, you can go overboard with a bunch of different customizations if need be. Pricing of the Lux iPhone XS and XS Max collectionss starts at a whopping $75,000.
All the iPhones included in Brikk’s customizations collection are sporting 512 GB of storage and are globally unlocked models, so they can technically work anywhere. They also come with a year’s worth of global warranty.
