Spotlighted iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac Accessories from 2024

Other Notable iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac Accessories from 2024

Raspberry Pi 500 keyboardRaspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi 500

The Raspberry Pi 500 is the next-generation version of the Raspberry Pi 400. Like its predecessor, it’s a keyboard with a Raspberry Pi computer built into it — plug it into a monitor, pair it with a mouse, and you’re ready to go. But the Raspberry Pi 500 features the same computing power as the company’s new flagship Raspberry Pi 5, but adds a keyboard and numerous ports for connecting peripherals and displays. It costs $90, but Raspberry Pi sells a desktop kit (with a mouse, a USB-C power supply and an HDMI cable) for $120.

LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor With 480Hz Refresh RateLG

LG UltraGear GX7

The LG UltraGear GX7 is the company’s first OLED gaming monitor with a blazing-fast 480Hz refresh rate. It has a .03-millisecond response time, as well. The 27-inch monitor has a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution and is DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. At $1,000, it’s slightly more affordable than its closest rival, Sony’s $1,100 InZone M10S monitor.

Serene Industries

Serene Industries The Icebreaker Keyboard

Not only is this keyboard’s chassis machined from a solid piece of CNC-machined aluminum, but so are its keycaps. Yet, even with full-metal keycaps, they’re still capable of allowing LED light to shine through, courtesy of the nearly 800 micro-perforations that make up the legends.

Anker MagGo Power Bank (5K, Slim)Anker

Anker MagGo Power Bank (5K, Slim)

The Anker MagGo Power Bank is the company’s thinnest portable battery compatible with MagSafe (and Qi) to date — it’s 0.34 inches thick. It magnetically slicks to the back of your iPhone, resting flush against it, and wirelessly charges it at its fastest possible speed (up to 15 watts). With a 5,000mAh capacity, it should have enough juice to charge your iPhone twice over (depending on the model, of course). It’s available in two finishes: white or blue.

Yanko Design OrigamiSwift MouseYanko Design

Yanko Design OrigamiSwift Mouse

The OrigamiSwift is a portable Bluetooth mouse with an innovative design that, according to Yanko Design, is inspired by origami. It has a triangular structure that allows it to fold into an ergonomic-shaped mouse and then completely flat, the latter of which so you can easily slip it into a bag or laptop sleeve. The mouse weighs just 40 grams, charges via USB-C and is compatible with both Mac and PC.

8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard - Xbox Edition8BitDo

8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard (Xbox Edition)

8BitDo’s mechanical keyboard and mouse combo is inspired by one of the coolest gaming consoles ever — the translucent green Xbox (first released in 2003). In addition to the see-through green shell, the Xbox edition keyboard’s directional keys are the same colors as the original controller’s X, Y, B and A buttons. It features RGB lighting, customizable buttons and an Xbox button that activates the Windows Game Bar.

DJI Mic Mini 2DJI

DJI Mic Mini

The DJI Mic Mini is a smaller, more affordable version of the company’s extremely popular Mic 2 wireless microphone system. For $89, you can get one receiver and one transmitter (with a built-in mic). For $169, you get an extra and a charging case for everything. Compared to the Mic 2, the Mic Mini’s transmitters are roughly half the size — where it gets its “Mini” name — and have improved battery life. The main tradeoff is unlike the Mic 2, the Mic Mini can’t record backup audio.

Mophie 3-in-1 Travel ChargerMophie

Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger with MagSafe

Mophie’s 3-in-1 travel charger has a compact foldable design and supports fast charging to both new iPhones (it’s certified for both MagSafe and Qi2) and Apple Watch models (Series 7 or later). Additionally, it has a wireless charging pad for AirPods neatly tucked behind the iPhone charger. It comes with a 40-watt USB-C adapter, a charging cable, several international plug configurations and a travel case to keep everything together.

Belkin Vision Pro CaseBelkin

Belkin Travel Bag for Apple Vision Pro

The Vision Pro was released almost a year ago and, up until now, Apple only sold its own travel case for the headset — which cost $200 and looks like a travel pillow designed by NASA. Now, Apple is finally selling a more affordable option. It’s made by Belkin, the popular gadget accessory maker, and it’s significantly smaller and half the price of Apple’s option. It also has outside pockets and looks like a normal bag.

Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 16 ProMophie

Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 16

Mophie’s popular Juice Pack battery cases fit Apple’s lineup of iPhone 16s — every model except for the iPhone 16 Plus. Each case has a 3,600 mAh battery and features an integrated magnet, so it’s still compatible with MagSafe and Qi2 accessories such as car mounts, wallets and stands (but not chargers). The case has a USB-C port and supports the company’s pass-through charging technology, so it’ll first recharge your iPhone and then recharge the case.

Satechi Trio wireless charging padSatechi

Satechi Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad

Satechi updated its travel-friendly 3-in-1 wireless charging pad to support Qi2 and faster charging. The new “Trio” still has a collapsible design that folds flat, making it easy to slip into a bag, and is made of premium materials (aluminum, vegan leather and soft silicone). But the iPhone charging pad/stand now supports up to 15-watt wireless charging. The Apple Watch puck supports up to 5-watt charging and has a new articulated arm for better positioning. These design updates and faster charging make the new Trio $10 more expensive than its predecessor.

Plugable 10-port USB-C chargerPlugable

Plugable 10-Port USB-C Charger (PS-10CC)

The Plugable PS-10CC is what the company is calling the “world’s 10-port USB-C charger.” That’s right, it can simultaneously charge up to 10 devices. It outputs 100 watts of power, which it can evenly distribute evenly among the ten ports or deliver all to a single port. And since all ten USB-C ports are the same, it eliminates the headache of figuring out which port to plug which device in. It’s a Kickstarter campaign with an expected release date in January 2025. The early bird special will shed you $40 off the $99 MSRP.

Twelve South HiRise 2 Deluxe charging standTwelve South

Twelve South HiRise 2 Deluxe

The HiRise 2 Deluxe is a 2-in-1 version of Twelve South’s 3-in-1 HiRise 3 Deluxe. It’s a MagSafe (and Qi2) wireless charging stand that’s made of premium materials, including a vegan leather cover for the main pad. The base doubles as a 5-watt wireless charging base for your AirPods. It does lack the HiRise 3 Deluxe’s Apple Watch charging puck, but it’s also $70 cheaper.

Plugable dockPlugable

Plugable Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station (TBT-6950PD)

Plugable’s latest Thunderbolt docking station, the TBT-6950PD, is designed for power users with multi-monitor workstations. Thanks to two HDMI and two Thunderbolt ports, it can support up to four 4K (60Hz) external displays — four on most PCs and three on Macs with Apple Silicon. Additionally, it supports 96-watt pass-through charging and has ports for Gigabit Ethernet, an SD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Bitmo Lab

Bitmo Lab Gamebaby

Apple’s decision to allow emulator apps earlier this year immediately made the iPhone an excellent option for replaying Gameboy games, granted you were ok interacting with a touchscreen or were dedicated enough to keep a Bluetooth controller close at hand. Bitmo Lab’s Gamebaby offers a different solution. It’s an iPhone case with a removable bottom panel that can be flipped and slid on the bottom front half of the iPhone. Once it’s in the correct position, the d-pad and physical buttons apply force to the right spots on the iPhone’s touch screen while running the Delta emulator app, providing the feel of a physical controller without requiring any Bluetooth pairing or battery drain.

Twelve South

Twelve South PlugBug with Find My

This is the world’s first charger with built-in support for Apple’s Find My technology, which means users can geolocate it on another Apple device if it’s misplaced or lost. Combined with an ultra-slim form factor perfect for packing and squeezing into tight spaces, it looks like a winner for frequent travelers dedicated to Apple’s ecosystem. A 50W version with two USB-C ports is a smaller, more affordable option for charging phones and tablets. The 120W four-port version can charge more gadgets at once or provide up to 120W to a single device for fast charging power-hungry items like an Apple MacBook Pro. A PlugBug Travel edition of both sizes is slightly more expensive, and ships switchable adapter plugs for the US, UK, EU, AU, KR, and CN, as well as a travel case.

EcoFlow RAPID Magnetic Power Banks

One of the biggest brands in whole home and emergency backup batteries is launching its first portable battery bank series for smartphones. The upcoming RAPID Magnetic Power Bank collection offers quite a lot for a typically dull product category. They’re Qi2-certified for fast 15W wireless charging with modern Android and iPhones. Thanks to 30W/65W input, the power banks can charge from 0% to 70% in under 33 minutes. They also feature a built-in USB-C cable for plugging devices in for faster top-off sessions and a built-in kickstand for watching content or using your device in nightstand mode. An integrated TFT display tops it all off, providing practical info, including battery capacity, time to recharge stats, and information on power input/output. Owners can even have the display show their name or a DIY graphic using the companion Ecoflow app. Pricing isn’t available yet, but the 5,000 and 10,000 maH models will be available for purchase by November 1st.will be available in two capacities of 5000/10000mAh.

Nomad Stand One Max (2024)Nomad

Nomad Stand One Max (3rd-Gen)

Nomad released an improved version of its popular 3-in-1 charging station for iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch. The third-generation Stand One Max now lets you charge all your devices while your iPhone is horizontally oriented for StandBy mode (previously, the Apple Watch charger got in the way). Additionally, it now supports Qi2 wireless charging, which has all the advantages of MagSafe but lets Nomad drop the price — it’s $30 cheaper than before.

Plugable USB-C docking stationPlugable

Plugable USB-C Laptop Docking Station (UD-6950PDH)

Plugable redesigned its 14-in-1 docking station with a space gray aluminum body to better match Apple’s space gray Macs. Like its predecessor, it’s unique because it supports dual 4K (at 60Hz) displays — via DisplayPort or HDMI — with any Apple-silicone Mac. It also has an updated audio jack, a front-facing USB-C port and a dedicated power button for turning on/off.

Anker

Anker Prime Charging Station (250W, 6 Ports, GaNPrime)

Anker’s latest desktop charging station is the most power-user power station we’ve ever seen. The standout feature is a dedicated control knob for dictating how the charger’s 250W flows to charger’s four USB-C and two USB-A ports. While a default AI Power Mode will work to optimize charging speeds based on the number of devices connected, a port priority mode also allows users to choose two ports to maintain full power output regardless of other connections. Similarly, Laptop Mode will ensure that two laptops are connected via USB-C and will keep charging priority. Finally, a low current mode is available for slowly topping off connected devices while preserving battery longevity. The device’s integrated screen displays charging information for each port and can also function as a small desktop clock when a screensaver mode kicks on.

UAG

UAG SRGE 3-in-1 Travel / Desktop Charger

Multi-device wireless chargers for iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watch are everywhere now. This solution stands out for two reasons. The wireless phone charging dock can elevate for easier nightstand viewing. The entire kit can also fold down into an iPhone-sized package for travel. It also comes with a 25W power brick, three different international power plug adaptors, a USB-C charging cable, and a carry pouch.

Insta 360 Go Flo Gimbal on a dark gradient orange background.Insta360

Insta360 Flow Pro

Whether you’re a burgeoning influencer grinding out content or a parent sick of being a mobile tripod for FaceTime calls with grandparents, the Insta360 could be a lifesaver. Like any good gimbal, it can help video footage look smooth while moving. But it’s also the first gimbal equipped with DockKit, Apple’s proprietary subject-tracking technology. Just tap an iPhone to pair if via NFC, pop the iPhone into the gimbal, and the motorized gimbal can rotate 360 degrees and intelligently zoom in and out to keep subjects in frame. Insta360 says the device will work with the iPhone’s native camera, Facetime app, and third-party apps.

Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 shown on desk in a wood filled room overlooking the sea. The keyboard is in front of an iPad and iPhone both on a stand.Logitech

Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 Portable Bluetooth Keyboard

Logitech has revamped its portable keyboard, which is designed primarily for tablets and cell phones. The most significant changes include an integrated cover that protects the keys while traveling, helps raise the keyboard slightly off a flat service when used, and a wedge case design with 1 mm travel scissor keys. The keyboard is also more than an inch narrower from the front to the back edge, making it easier to hold and store in a bag. But it’s also slightly heavier than the previous generation by slightly more than an ounce. It can pair with up to three devices and switch between them via the Easy-Switch keys. Two layouts are available: a universal version for Android, ChromeOS, Windows, iPadOS, iOS, and MacOS, and a dedicated Apple layout for iPadOS, iOS, and macOS. Lilac, Pale Grey and Graphite are the three available colors to choose from.

WaterField Design

WaterField Designs Backpack for Apple Vision Pro

Early adopters of the Apple Vision Pro now have a new option for taking the headset on the road. WaterField Designs purpose-built Backpack for Apple Vision Pro features a separate bottom compartment with a padded hammock for the headset. Waterfield also includes the brand’s Hatbox accessory bag for the Vision Pro which also fits precisely in the compartment to prevent jostling. Naturally, slots for more traditional tech like laptop and tablets are also included. The first batch of bags ships June 11th.

Sharge Pouch Battery Bank

It’s hard to get excited about a power bank, but the Sharge Pouch offers a novel design approach we’ve never seen before. You can use the charging brick to recharge the battery – or another gadget separately without drawing battery power. Cleverly, the charging brick and cable attach magnetically to the 10,000mAh battery pack, ensuring users always have what they need to charge gadgets or recharge the pack. Our only gripe is that we wish the colors weren’t so bold. And while a max PD charging speed of 40W is solid, it’s not powerful enough to charge power-hungry laptops.

Logitech

Logitech Wave Keys Ergonomic Keyboard for Mac

It’s been a minute since Logitech has made a dedicated ergonomic keyboard for Macs. This new option features an integrated cushioned palm rest with memory foam and the ability to connect up to three devices simultaneously, including those running other operating systems not from Apple. Power is supplied by two triple-A batteries that should last for up to 36 months of use. Downloading the Logi Options+ App on macOS also allows for various customizations for quick access to software.
