We were already huge fans of the Bobcats, which combine clarity-enhancing Chromapop lens tech with goggle-like coverage and a barely-there feel that makes them perfect for biking and running. Now Smith has teamed up with renowned Portland, Oregon-based artist Lisa Congdon to give them a fresh new look that is sure to turn heads from the road to the trails.

2025 Scott Addict RC Ultimate Bike
Just a couple days before many of us will be packing on pounds, Scott is dropping them. Its latest Addict RC series consists of five bikes starting at $4,999 and promising bonkers weight savings. The top of the line is the world-class Ultimate Bike, boasting a hollow carbon frame kit that’s 300g lighter than its predecessor. Tipping the scales at a feathery 640g (~1.4 pounds), it forms the base of a complete bike weighing just 5.9kg (~13 pounds). In other words, if you aren’t positively flying over tarmac, it’s not the bike, it’s the turkey in the saddle.
VelocioVelocio Alpha Zero Jacket
“It’s dark. It’s cold. It’s time to ride.” So begins the promo copy for Velocio’s newest jacket, designed to help you answer that crispy call to action, even when it’s below freezing out. With a 20k/20k waterproof breathable Polartec outer shell and bodymapped Polartec insulation, it’s the brand’s warmest jacket yet. True to its cycling nature, the PFAS-free garment also offers a trio of rear pockets, perfect for stashing much-deserved snacks.
SmithSmith Seeker
Meet Smith’s modern take on the explorer silhouette. The Seeker sunglasses pair a round-lens design with a lightweight frame. They have ChromaPop lenses, the company’s signature technology that enhances color and clarity. And their auto-lock hinges allow you to easily clip them to your shirt (or neck) when taken off. According to Smith, they’re primed for running, hiking, biking and alpine adventures.
DucatiDucati Futa All Road Gravel E-Bike
Ducati is building on its e-bike lineup by introducing an All Road version to the Futa line. Thanks to a carbon monocoque frame, it’s relatively light given the gravel bike also includes a SRAM electronic shifting system, SRAM hydraulic brakes, Carbon Vision wheels, Vittoria Terreno Dry tires, a 250Wh battery and an FSA System HM 1.0 motor. Riders can select between five levels of assistance and extend the bike’s range further if needed via an additional power pack. An iOS and Android app also allows riders to track stats, range, and charge levels. Ducati also includes three Skuad bikepacking bags with every purchase that are fully waterproof. The bike is available in four sizes and will officially go on sale via Ducati’s website or at Ducati dealerships later this month. The price quoted below is roughly coverted from pound sterling.
VelocioVelocio Riding Pack
Having delivered sterling cycling apparel for more than a decade now, New Hampshire-based Velocio makes its first foray into bags with two items, a 40L duffel and this purpose-built pack. Highlights include a rolltop that expands capacity from 25L to 35L, external MOLLE webbing for attaching a helmet and other gear, ride-oriented ergonomics, a dedicated laptop sleeve and deep side pockets that can fit up to a 26-ounce bottle.

In its continued mission to get more women on bikes, Liv Cycling takes another huge step with the launch of the Avail Advanced E+ Elite series, led by the top-of-the-line Elite 0 model shown here. Within its sleek form resides a compact SyncDriveMove Plus Hub drive motor fueled by a 400Wh main battery and delivering up to 28 mph of assistance. Combined with discreet controls, a lightweight carbon frame and fork, endurance geometry and internal cable routing, it offers a streamlined synthesis of powered and traditional road cycling, so you can ride longer and stronger than ever before.

CanyonCanyon Spectral:ONfly
With lighter-weight e-mountain bikes being so en vogue these days, it was only a matter of time till Canyon rolled out a banger. Emerging from a carbon-fiber frame weighing just over 5.8 pounds, with full-build weights starting at 39.9 pounds, the Spectral:ONfly promises to mimic the feel of a traditional MTB while doubling your pedaling power. The streamlined 300-watt motor and 360-watt-hour battery enable riders to climb nearly 3,300 feet on a single charge. Meanwhile, the mulletized wheelset, generous suspension travel (160mm front, 150mm rear) and stable yet nimble geometry ensure maximum flickability. The only bad news? While the bikes launch internationally today, the two US models — the $5,999 CF8 and $7,499 CF CLLCTV (shown) — won’t be available till the first week of October.
GarminGarmin Fenix 8
Garmin’s latest flagship multi-sport smartwatch, the Fenix 8, shares a similar design but a few notable upgrades over its predecessor (the Fenix 7). It features a built-in speaker and microphone for the first time, so you can now use voice commands (to start timers) and answer calls from your wrist. You can choose an always-on solar charging display or an OLED display (the former has a much longer battery life). And it has more features for diving, such as leakproof buttons, a new sensor guard, and a dive rating of up to 40 meters.

How do you make one of the best all-around mountain bikes even better? For the fifth generation of the Bronson, Santa Cruz focused on tweaking the suspension, shifting its VPP (virtual pivot point) lower and more forward to create a more relaxed, cushy feel that maximizes traction — and helps this puppy descend as smoothly as the action star with which it shares a name once dispatched his on-screen foes.
BMCBMC URS 01 ONE
The new URS 01 ONE leads the line for BMC’s updated family of adventure-ready “exploration” gravel bikes, which are about as close to mountain bikes as you can get while retaining drop bars. Highlights include a lightweight carbon frame, downtube storage, side-loading bottle holders, progressive geometry (long frame + short stem = stable yet responsive handling) and MicroTravel Technology (MTT) in the seatstay and stem for just enough suspension to tackle obstacles without sacrificing speed. This update also includes the rigid URS TWO ($4,499), the URS 01 LT ($6,499+) and an electric option, the URS AMP LT TWO ($9,999).
Clik ValveSchwalbe Clik Valve
Presta, Schrader and Dunlop tire valves are standards in cycling and biking, yet all are far from perfect designs. The Clik Valve, unveiled at Eurobike 2024, could dismantle the status quo. As the story goes, inventor John Quintana developed the design after seeing his kids struggle with existing valves. Instead of a threaded attachment method, the Clik Valve and matching pump head snap together with little effort. The design also allows for 50% higher airflow than standard valves while resulting in zero pressure loss when pumping. And the head design is backwards compatible with typical Presta pumps. Most importantly, Schwalbe is selling Clik tubeless valves and conversion kits. Unfortunately, the initial stock is already sold out.
Canyon Tempr CFR Cycling Shoes
German direct-to-consumer bike maker Canyon’s first-ever cycling shoes include a three-bolt option for road cycling and a two-bolt option for gravel and Mountain biking. Canyon sees the new lineup as a premier offering, given it’s bestowed the shoes with its Canyon Factory Racing (CFR) label, which has previously only appeared on the company’s top-of-the-line carbon frames. The apparent goal was to build footwear that maximized comfort and power while eliminating hotspots producing foot slippage. Cyclists will also recognize many high-end components on these shoes made from other brands, including BOA aluminum closures, Solestar insoles, and Vibram Megagrip soles. The entire line is now available for purchase through Canyon’s site.
Priority BicyclesPriority Duzer Cruzer
Teaming up with Boulder, Colorado-based bike influencer Ryan Van Duzer — and inspired by his hometown’s long-running Thursday night social ride — Priority rolls out this limited-edition collab cruiser. Available in both step-through and diamond varieties, the Duzer Cruzer boasts custom colors, a lightweight aluminum frame, an internally geared 3-speed hub and that Priority staple — a rust-proof, grease-free Gates Carbon belt drive that lets you forget about chain maintenance and savor every spin.
SpecializedSpecialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 LTD Red Bull – BORA – hansgrophe Edition
You can actually buy an exact replica of the bike team Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe will be using during this year’s Tour De France. True to Red Bull’s roots, the bike’s looks are inspired by the 90s skateboarding. Naturally, every high-end feature you could want is also onboard, including a full SRAM RED AXS groupset and a Roval Rapide CLX II Team wheelset. Only 500 in total will ever be made.
MongooseMongoose Supergoose
Mongoose celebrates its 50th anniversary by reviving some classics, including this iconic BMX bike launched in 1984. The modern edition boasts a 4130 chromoly loop-tail frame, retro-style aluminum rims, DiaCompe MX rear rim brake and period-correct handlebar and top-tube pads. You’re probably a bit big for the ’goose these days, but we’re betting your kid will be stoked to find it “under” the tree next month. It’s available in both the shown colorway and a blue/yellow option.
